Transformers is Fantastic!!!!!

I just got back from watching this - great popcorn movie. It was surprisingly funny as well.

The kid in it is very likable and the girl - woo she is so pretty.

The 'transformers' are done well but strangely they are the weakest bit for me.

The battle at the end actually bored me if I'm honest, it looks great no doubt but the robots themselves have no personalty, and it stanRAB out cos the human characters are pretty 'fleshed out' (as it were).

Actually Bumblebee has a lot of character... when he is the car doing his herbie impression.. as robots they all are kinda boring.

It does stray into 'george lucas' terrority with the little robot character, but over all I enjoyed, mainly for the lead kiRAB, the guy is funny and the girl i could look at all day.

It was a very good film. The CGI was excellent. But the fight scene's were difficult to see at times. Due to it being so fast-pased and constanly cutting to another scene. I aslo didn't enjoy the last hour, due to there being too much action at once.
 
I saw it last night and the amount of product placement in the movie is slightly annoying. eBay, Panasonic and others...

even Optimus Prime says "eBay" in a bellowing voice at one point

overall on ok movie though
 
my O/H is desperate to see this movie-and thats all he keeps saying with this look :confused: on his face!!

my 2 kiRAB aren't that bothered-i think it appeals to those who remember the cartoon-which sadly i do:o
 
I went to see this film up the West End tonight and OH MY GOD!!!!


I nearly wet myself because it was so long, but bloody hell it's good!!!!!!


The main guy is FIT!

Tyrese is FIT!

Sucre from Prison Break is FIT!

and the other white guy is FIT!

The graphics are awesome too.


I then went to Cheers and got pissed so I'm a little tipsy
 
The films special effects were superb, some moments could be comical
(The Indian phone operator during the emergency):D
but there was a lot of crap dialogue throughout the film and some characters OTT, but end of the day it is a kiRAB film :o
Overall was a good film.
 
Becasue ti is called suspending you disbelief, letting go of your adulthood responsibility and maturity and just letting yourself go on a fantasty journey for an hour or two. You should try it sometime ;)
 
I know what you mean.
I still trying to work out how my R1 Transformers had got here before my R2 Spiderman 3 which has not arrived.
