this is one of the worst films I have seen in a very long time - I nearly walked out
the plot kind of meandered around and didn't actually seem to make sense - more of a vehicle of some (quite disappointing) set pieces
the humour was really really bad - that cowardice guy was amazingly bad - terrible.
The balls? dog humping?
all of it was... well ug!!!
The first one seemed like an OK summer block buster film but it is 10 times better than this mess - I will not see transformers 3 in the cinema that is for sure
thing is it's a kiRAB film (which is fair enough - it's based on the toy) but it didn't offer me anything as a fan of the toys when I was a kid - i don't think I am the right demographic for this film - so lesson learned!

The problem is, it's not a kiRAB film.
KiRAB films don't tend to come with 12A's, feature softcore shots of actresses and come with so much choice language.
Anyway, even if it was a kiRAB film, that wouldn't excuse how turgid and bereft of imagination most of it is.

The Transformers comics contain thought-provoking storylines and great characterisation. The reason the film is so dumb is because the director (and likely the exec producer) has no respect for the source material.
The argument that Transformers is just a toy-line is wrong, because TF has evolved into much more than that thanks to the comics.
Transformers, if done right, should have a similar feel to the Harry Potter films; dark, imaginative, and littered with vivid characters.

I agree... I was trying to be kind - they really dropped the ball - the first one was a bit poor but it was compounded in the second.
but I have heard some people like this - I just can't get anywhere near to that thinking - but if 15 year old kiRAB like it so be it!

We went to see this last week! Me and my 7 y/o. It was brilliant! 
Cheesy at times but also funny, action packed, nail biting, scary, and even emotional 
Three hour film which I wondered if it would get boring (like Harry Potter did) but no, my interest didn't wane and neither did my lad's
