In January i boarded a train to work without a ticket.
I got caught without a ticket (it was one stop and would have cost £1.90) and had an interview with two transport police and a ticket inspector
i have recieved a summons to court, to either plead guilty and pay the fine, which is £130, and not go to court, or go to court and plead my case that i had no cash on me, i am a student at university and that i am sorry for what i did, also that on every other occassion have bought a ticket.
can anyone advise me of whether i will face a criminal record? has anyone ever been through this situation before, who may have advise for me? i'm only 18.
