I am in the uk and have a uk spec 1997 toyota landcruiser colorado 3.0 td that overheats if towing heavy load over a distance or if its driven over 65mph for a distance- ie on a motorway...
It uses no water,is fine around town or under 65mph (approx),if you drive over 65mph and it starts to get hot the temp returns to normal if you slow down..The water pump has been checked-it is excellent, the viscus fan turns fine, the radiator has been removed and checked-water flows through fine.Heater works fine-hot or cold.It is a mystery can anyone help.??
