Toy story 3

Saw this yesterday - couldn't believe that the 9:30pm showing was still full and all adults - I think we were all pleased about the 3d glasses - but not for the images!;):)

Wraps it up nicely - NO MORE please PIXAR! Just shorts that extend the scenes like the cool train bit...

BTW - I do not understand the negativity for CARS - I still think it is is up there as one of the best - much better than Bug's life - but I think you need to appreciate Car racing to see the best of it. Really looking forward to CArs 2 - it will be my little girls first trip to cinema - She's still too young for this one.

Saw it with the little brother last night. It was quite good but for me it wasn't the best Toy Story movie. It felt a lot like the second movie to me, you just had to replace Lotso with Stinky Pete.

I'll admit, the scene where they are in the dump furnace and they all hold hanRAB and close their eyes and accept they are about to be destroyed was quite touching, as well as the scene where Big Baby remembers his owner and says "mama" and cries. The ending though when Andy gives the toys away to the little girl and says "thanks" to them as he drives off was probably the biggest emotional punch. But even then I held onto my manliness and thanked God I was wearing big black 3D glasses....

Disney please DO NOT MAKE A FINDING NEMO 2!
It's a masterpiece already. Don't ruin it.
It's like, what storyline would they do for it? Nemo's in college but ... nah it'd be stupid.

The beginning sequence was awesome and a fantastic reference to the original.
This is a silly question, but when Andy says "Thanks guys" at the end did he kinda know all along the toys were alive or (I always thought this before) it was in his head? I think the thing is, they were special to him so they felt ALIVE to him :(

Saw it this evening... I know I'm in the clear minority but I just thought it was good not brilliant or fantastic. There was a few moments where I jumped and so on so I do agree that perhaps this film should have been classified as PG but, after all I read and heard about it, I wanted to blurb like the sloppy cow I normally am with emotional programmes but nothing... not even a welling up. Preferred Toy Story 1 or 2 tbh.

Watched it yesterday! Was sooo good! I haven't watched the first or second ones so I was a bit hesitant if I would understand it all but it wasn't really linked with anything from the first ones as I was told by my brother. He said I should still watch the first one though cos it was the best.

I got a Toy Story 3 Cup with a toy too. :o:D

Yea comparing its performance to how to train your dragon it pretty much clobbers it in every country, only in south korea did how to train your dragon beat toy story hanRAB down.

That being said they were both good films. Dragon is already out on bluray, and is awesome..can't wait for ts3 on bluray. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1281320 These are going to be great reference discs lol:)

saw Toy Story 3 yesterday! just WOW :') i got a bit teary towarRAB the end of the film, worRAB cannot describe how amazing the film actually is!

just brilliant to see a fitting end to an amazing film series! TS3 is the film of 2010! without a doubt, hilarious, exciting, scary(that Baby doll was just so unnerving! and the scrapheap sequence AAAH!),bittersweet, tension, drama and that extra Disney quality behind the magic of the film, pure perfection! the ONLY trilogy where there are three MASTERPIECES!

also Toy Story 1 and 2 arrived on DVD today ordered from Amazon :) cannot wait to get this film on DVD :) just as i said BEYOND amazing on so many levels, plenty of visual gags it's just WOW =D

WOW! i loved this film, it really was amazing! I didn't cry but i did get goosebumps at certain bits (mainly towarRAB the end of the film.. if you've seen it you know what bits i'm on about) I think this was the perfect ending.
