Toy story 3

I figured the 3D was far more about giving the world more depth rather than things flying at our face. It was just an added bonus rather than a gimmick.

The film was incredible. An end to an era, after growing up with the characters it was actually quite emotional when it came to an end. Really felt saying goodbye to my childhood. Got quite teary, which rarely happens for me.

*THAT* scene (you'll know which one if you've seen it) was heart wrenching and you genuinely did feel for the toys. It was so sad.

I thought of something like that too :o Maybe if Andy found out they were REALLY alive, he wouldnt want to give them up :( I always thought they were just alive in Andy's head.. :(

I saw a 9pm screening so there weren't any kiRAB in the audience but there were a lot of sniffling adults and more than one who were actually sobbing. I was quite grateful for the 3D glasses at the end even though it wasn't very 3D :D

I went to see it on Wednesday and was one of the best films i have ever seen and thats no overexaggeration. :)

The film was so emotional at parts and hilariously funny it really made me feel like that was the end of my childhood now was an odd sensation when the film was over. And because im ages with Andy in the film it really hit home all the things that the character was going through at the end of the film. The real sad parts had me wiping tears from my eyes and the end was brilliantly done and had me laughing with tears in my eyes, nothing better than a film that makes you laugh and cry.

For me it was the best film because of the emotional aspects and because its such a funny film. And all the references to the earlier films were great it was like Pixar made a film for every kid born in the 90's. I remember being 4 and seeing the movie and finding it amazing and now im 18 and grown up and still find the characters amazing to watch.

I dont see one single flaw, bar the fact it had me looking like a big wimp crying in the cinema to a bunch of toys. :p

Agreed.

It was a great film on the whole, with a fantastic ending. But I felt in many ways the story was a rehash of Toy Story 2 (particularly with Lotso being so similar to Prospector Pete).

The humour was more slapstick and not as clever or well written as the previous films. Ken, Spanish Buzz and the tortilla scene provided some cheap laughs, but that was about it.

And am I the only one who found the incinerator scene a bit anti-climatic? It looked stunning, but as a cliffhanger it felt flat because they were essentially dumped into a rubbish plant with nowhere left to go (until being rescued, unbelievably, by the Aliens). In Toy Story 2 they fought to the bitter end to save each other from being shipped off and be reunited. It should have been a really exciting climax where they escape death rather than cheating it, and then just leave it to the final scene at Bonnie's to provide the inevitable heightened emotion of the film.

Toy Story 1 and 2 get 10/10 from me, whereas I'd give Toy Story 3 a 8/10.

My word that scene when they hold hanRAB killed me, a movie has never made me like that - well done Disney Pixar

the 3D thing why does every one feel that 3d is all about gimmicks and stuff popping out of the screen, it gave the movie depth (like avatar)

some 3d movies where they play on the lets chuck stuff at the audience are generally rubbish

I saw it yesterday, and absolutely loved it. Libitina, I'm honestly not surprised that everyone applauded at the end of the film at your screening, because as it finished that was my first reaction. I didn't, because no-one else in the theatre did and I didn't want to draw too much attention to myself due to the state of my very red eyes! :) But I spoke to my Mum on the way out and she said that she'd felt like applauding it too. Honestly one of the best films I've ever seen, and in my opinion the Toy Story trilogy is the best trilogy there is. Not one of those three films is a weak link.

When I got home I dug out my old Sylvanian Families from the back of the top of my wardrobe. They were consistently my favourite toy throughout my childhood, I adored them, but I hadn't even looked at them in years. They looked so sad all jumbled up in their shoebox, so I sat them all up neatly and said hi to them again :D Was a nice little nostalgic session for me.

I dunno, I thought maybe he'd find happiness at the end but I'm more pleased in a way Pixar kept the dark themes. I felt more sorry for Big Baby than Lotso :( Lotso lied to him and because of him, Big Baby lost Daisy.

Took my son(13 yrs old) to watch it on Thursday
Absolutely brilliant
I welled up when they held hanRAB in the incinerator.Thought it was the end.
Then it got to the ending, and my boy had to go for a pee, only 2 minutes left, but when you need to go,you need to go

It sort of killed the moment when he had to walk along our row. Ha Ha. I dont blame him though
When you need to go,you need to go
