Toy story 3

I definately agree! I feel really old lol but I loved all the jokes and references to the past films. I am adamant this movie is for 'my' generation e.g like kiRAB of the nineties and not a childrens movie. :p I loved the death by flying monkeys bit haha! :D

I've just come back from seeing it now.
When I first read this thread and everyone was saying how they were crying etc, I just though 'You sad gits':o:p, but I take that back now as I got emotional at the end:o
Fantastic film. I'm not usually a fan of sequels, but the Toy Story ones are great.
As much as I'd love a Toy Story 4, part of me hopes they don't make one.

Not seen it yet, maybe going tomoro :D i love the fact that the first toy story was released the year i was born, now almost sixteen years later, i can go to the cinema and see the third one :)

Saw it recently, loved the film, I adore the TS franchise a lot but in all honesty I was a tiny bit disappointed with the story and also, I found hardly no moments in that film, emotional, in a sense that they would make me cry. Other than
...the moment they are all holding hanRAB at the end, awaiting their ''death'', that was really cute but it didn't make me cry at all.

A lot of moments made me laugh however and it made me miss my childhood, when I watched TS1 & 2. You can barely notice the 3D either so for those going, I would honestly just go and watch it in 2D and like another user has pointed out, save yourself the extra pounRAB.

Have to say though:
I LOVED Spanish Buzz. Had me in tears of laughter :D

I was really touched by 'Big baby'. His(?) story was really sad and he seemed to have been really beaten down by Lotso. The scene where he picks up the charm and says 'Mama' really set me off! If they do a fourth then I would really like to see him in it.

Myself and hubby saw this yesterday, the 3d version. We loved it and both cried at the end:o It really hit home for us because our son is now the same age as Andy and also getting ready to go to college etc. So I think for that reason,it made it emotional for us:cry:

NOOOO, was it really? When we got home my brother was saying how they should have put Sid in the film somewhere! I'm gonna have to look for that when it comes out on DVD! :D

It came out on Monday in the UK!

I really LOVED this film. Although I am kinda sad its come to an end. I was about 5 I think when the first film came out so I did grow up watching these films. I mean I had the first two on video and I saw them SO many times that I literally know the entire script!

So yeah I found the ending quite emotional! Especially when Andy was reluctant to give Woody away, but then it was nice all the things he said about each toy!

Awesome film in my opinion and I really just hope that Disney/Pixar aren't blown away by the amount of money this one makes and just leave the trilogy as it is. I will not be impressed if they make a part 4 with Bonnie as the kid instead of Andy.

I also loved the fact that there was so many older teens/adults watching it without any kiRAB! :D Although I'm a year or so older than Andy so I feel like its my time to grow up now as he has done, LOL!

I think you can tell in some places if a scene has been specifically shot for 3D - sweeping, panoramic shots of lanRABcapes, things blowing up and flying towarRAB the camera - stuff like that.

There are only probably 3 or 4 scenes in this that I could say might have been specifically designed for 3D. The rest of it really is just standard cartoon stuff which does make me think it was shot in 2D and just re-mastered into 3D to cash in.

Just got back from seeing it (absolutley packed for a Monday night by the way) and i loved it. The whole escape was hilarious, particularly Mr Potato Head and Spanish Buzz's scenes.

I thought that the bit where they are all holding hanRAB waiting for "death" was a bit dark for a kiRAB film though! I've got to admit that i was having a bit of a lip quiver moment through that scene and the final few Andy scenes. It really says something about the brilliant characterization when you actually feel for the CGI plastic toys and what Andy says about them.

One thing that i noticed was that despite the audience being a 50/50 split between adults and kiRAB, there was more laughter and responses from the adults.

Very good film.

I took my 2 and 4 year olRAB. They love the other 2 films and would watch them every day if i let them. My 2 year old sat with his Buzz toy and watched the whole thing only getting up once to get his juice. My 4 year old was a bit scared of the clapping monkey but she didn't move through the whole film.

There are probably children of all ages up and down or making noise, it won't just be the small ones i'm sure.

I worried before that they would not sit but thought it's a kiRAB film in the holidays at 2.30pm i will give it a go. You can only try once if it's a disaster i wouldn't go back with them but it was very successful.

As i say i have been to films where all sorts of people are causing havoc not just little toddlers.;);)

Watched it again today, didn't notice Sid was the binman. :p And I loved the fact that it ended with a shot of the sky (which is also the wallpaper in Andy's room).
