Toy story 3

I just saw this in 3D tonight. In all honesty I found it a little disappointing. Yes it is very emotional but too many scenes are just rehashes of the earlier films and there is really nothing new - we've seen it all before. For me part 2 is still by far and away the best. As for the 3D it is all very low key and is mostly done to give rooms a feeling of depth and space rather than being spectacular. Save a few quid and just watch it in 2D. All in all it is technically amazing as a film but the story disappoints.

I got goosebumps and all teary eyed at the furnace scene, but then my OH ruined it by saying "they don't die theres still half an hour or so to go" lol :p

I saw it in 3D, had never seen a film in 3D before but i really enjoyed it. The picture quality was so much better than normal, and with student discount it only cost less than

I watched it a few weeks back when I was in the US - great stuff. I certainly shed a tear in the end.

Ken was a great addition and provided some of the best comic relief in the film. And watch out for scenes involving a tortilla and a monkey - an absolute scream. :D

Me and the bf went to see it tonight. I was 7 when the first one came out, still remember the release of the second one really clearly and it's always been one of our family's films. I had to see it in the cinema and I'm so glad I did.

The scene with the furnace was very grown up and actually quite hard to watch and the bit at the end when Andy was saying goodbye broke my heart. The whole audience (mostly adults!) were completely quiet - most likely trying not to cry like I was :D

Definitely want to go and see it again and probably will.

I think you're mistaken with that one. Imdb lists it with a very tentative 2012 date, but as there's no actual information on the page i don't think anything's been officially announced.

Also, it seems that TS3 has taken

Why should they? Toy story 2 and 3 were both awesome so they have proved these aren't just cheap cash ins.

Cars 2 is justified by the sheer demand for it, it's an absolute behemoth as a series.

They are still making new IP's as well I just hope Newt gets made.

Ooh I never noticed that about Boo! I wanna see it again so will look out for it ...

I think one of my fave scenes was actually where Ken was trying on all the different outfits ... :D Also the same action scene of Andy playing with the Toys in the first movie!

I was really hoping they'd find Bo and some of the other missing toys at the day care centre ... :o

I get what you mean. 2-3 is too young for a child to be at the cinema. 4-6 is probably the best age to start taking a child to the cinema. their concentration may be better.

I loved the film though. I ordered my toy story box set wednesday night, hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow. my parents are away tomorrow night so I'll watch both of them then. :D

EDIT: Just checked my Play account...it was dispatched yesterday. I'll be lucky if I get it tomorrow :(

It's amazing isn't it, I'm so glad they stayed true to the original movies. I'm 23 but I'm not ashamed to say I want a Buzz/Woody toy :P. Loved Toy Story when I was a Kid and I love it now
