exactly. of course the well is still >2200psi because its still spewing

alright, we're on the same page now.

i cant give you a location where we can pressure test machinery at pressures exerted at 5000ft below sea level, but i'm sure we have the ability considering we've gone deeper in manned submersibles... 7 times deeper actually.

not to mention we have live feeds from half a dozen ROVs operating flawlessly down there with circular saws and shit

Those Canadian and Mexican Muslims hate our freedom.

If pumping mud down temporarily stopped the flow they should keep fucking pumping the mud down till the second well is complete.

So the top kill didn't work, then I saw this vid....we're so fucked. They're now speculating that it's spewing 120,000 bbls per day. I hope this is wrong.

A casing blowout? Jesus....we're totally fucked if that's true.

lol, go figure.

people were tripping over their own feet to get paid a few years ago when they started the drilling at my parents place.

i know dude, people died because that BOP failed first off from preventing the explosion. second off because the rams wont fucking close and shut off this flow

now our shit is getting polluted like crazy.

this does fucking suck but when you have shit thats like triple redundant most would think that should be enough, especially when there hasnt been anything crazy like this to happen like... ever.

Yea as we speak there's a boardroom full of PR types brainstorming for a new cute name for their next plan.
