Top 5 list "dislikes" about GTA4

Driving is now easy. What you do is pull the ebrake before a turn, stop the skid by breaking, then gas out while you're still skidding


My biggest gripe is I'm running away and trying to get in a car, hit Y, and have to sit and wait while he slowly gets in the car while i'm getting my ass shot

Also, doors that won't just STAY OPEN
 
It's a video game, not reality. Just because one bullet to your chest would kill you doesn't mean games should follow the same rule.

And seriously, just learn to drive, I have no issues crashing, or turning, and flying down roads weaving in and out of traffic without even grazing another car. And I repeat YOU HAVE FULL CONTROL OF THE CAMERA. If you don't like where it is pointing, click the analog stick to instantly put it back behind you, or just move the analog stick to swing it in any direction you want.

People are entitled to their opinions, and I don't care if people don't like a game or not. But knocking a game for your lack of any skill playing it is the dumbest thing to knock a game for, the controls and camera ARE EASY TO USE.

Knock it for not having tanks, or planes, or bigger open environments. Not because you have no idea how to control it
 
A games learning curve is very important to it's success. There are a lot of complaints about the driving, at first I thought it sucked but I drove around a lot and I'm used to it. However you can't say it's a lack of skill that causes this.

As far as people dying, it's more like a shooter. Shoot them in the head, they die.

The camera, just the same as driving, takes time getting used to. But in the end, driving/shooting now is wayyyy better than I remember it.
 
TBH, the new controls are thanks to the success of the xbox controller and the trigger buttons. The PS3 controller needs a revamp, but playing on the xbox after a few days, I'm very happy.

The new driving/camera just takes practice, but it works great once you got it. My main complaint is the targetting, and it feels like theres no gas until you're at 60% on the button.
 
what does that have to do with anything? Do the car physics get better after you beat the game? Do you unlock the special "unfag the camera" cheat?
 
People bitching about driving, I want to see YOU take ANY car and hit a turn at 50 mph. Hate to break it to you but you're probably not going to do it.

Anyways, my least favorite things:

1. Car camera angle is a little too low and it's annoying always having to adjust
2. Dating / friends : booooooooooooring
3. My money feels useless
4. Can't collect cars at all. Idk if you can have more than one but it's definitely two at the most and I have a fascination with collecting cars every time I get a new badass one.
5. No checkpoints in long missions
 
i'm pretty sure the only military helicopter is the one with the guns on it, that you can unlock with a cheat code.

the guns aren't worth a fuck and there's no rockets.
 
That's definitely my biggest complaint. Sure it's ok if you're in a Hummer looking thing, but fuck man on a bike it can cost you 50% hp
 
I agree that the controls are fine for the 360 but they should of made a different set of controls for the PS3 seeing its a totally different controller with different strenghts and weaknessess. I love the PS3 controller..its butter as long its the controlls are laid out properly. The devs need to revolve there controls on a controllers strenghts not just hack them in.

Yes I agree the targetting can be messy at times.
 
Anyone esle notice that in online it takes 1 or 2 bodyshots to kill a pedestrian but in order to kill another play with bodyshots it takes like 7-13 plus hits?
