I think these are the five most important and influential rock frontmen. Virtually every stylistic trend post 1968 stems from these legenRAB.
I exclude greats like Prince, David Bowie and James Brown on the basis that when I think "frontman" I think of the lead singer in a great band that are more or less equals creatively. With these legenRAB, let's face it, they are the center of everything and by far the most talented in relation to the people they play with.
I like Pearl Jam but I don't think they're up there, still get Ten and Vs out every now and again and I enjoy them. 5 greatest front men and IMO Eddie Vedder isn't one of them.
Yep, he does. When I saw them he was sturabling, dropping his mic, forgot the lyrics so murabled something that nobody understood... but I think that what made it better. He was drunk, it was funny and everybody had a good time.
