Well, as i mentioned on the Top 25 shows of the 2000s talkback thread, there seems to be a lot of arguments, disagreements, etc. about what should have been the top 25 episodes of the decade. Well, now is your chance to influence the top 25. Send your top 10 to me by PM and on New Year's Day I will begin the countdown. This is open to everybody, both mods and regular posters, so just send me a PM and everyone can have their say. The only real stipulation on the shows is that new episodes have to have aired since 2000. Any questions can be asked on this thread or by PM.

For shows that started pre-2000, but continued post-2000, would we count the series as a whole or only the episodes that aired post-2000? For example, would Batman Beyond as just the latter 2 seasons or all 3?

I would count them all. I have Recess on my list, although it only aired two years in the 2000s. It just needs to have aired at least one full season in the 2000s

There's been an awful lot of list threads lately. Is this really necessary? The Top 50 Animated Shows list had a lot of shows from the 2000s anyway, so if you want to know what people here think, why not just eliminate the older shows from that list?

'Cause it's more fun this way! :p

1. The Spectacular Spider-Man
2. Avatar
3. Full Metal Alchemist
4. Death Note
5. The Simpsons
6. Futurama
7. X-Men Evolution
8. South Park
9. Justice League (Unlimited)
10. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
11. Batman Beyond
12. Danny Phantom
13. Recess
14. Jimmy Neutron
15. Fairly Odd Parents

Yeah, that's all I can come up with. :p

Another thing, I am going to say that those who are sending in a top 10 can also include up to 5 Honorable Mentions. If you've already sent me a top 10, you can send another message with the honorable mentions. You don't have to, and you can have less than 5(I have 3), but if there are shows not in the top 10 you think deserve recognition send them in as well.

Avatar, for sure. Futurama and Family Guy have their moments too. But American Dragon is my favorite. Hey, you guys knock it all you want. The love story was enticing and far better then anything Zutara could cough up. ;)

I'm not sure Jake and Rose's romance should be compared to Zuko and Katara simple because the latter was never meant to happen. The creators were aware of their fanbase that they teased the two a few times here and there, but it was meant as a shout out then any intentions of pairing them up.

I realize that this is going to be slightly different from the order I had for the overall, but that's ok.

10. Star Wars:The Clone Wars - I'm talking about the series here, not the two movies that aired in little minisodes. This show has the potential to be one of my favorite cartoons of all time, but its' not quite there yet. I feel like this show hasn't reached it's full potential. But it took the 2003 TMNT cartoon a couple of full seasons to reach it's full potential as well. So I've still got hope that this show will reach greatness.

9. Teen Titans - Before I saw this show, I did not expect to be a big fan of it. But I was pleasently surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It was lighter than other action shows, but managed to not be cheesy.

8. Phineas & Ferb - This is another show that I didn't expect to enjoy. But give this show a chance, and it's surprisingly addicting. This show uses the same basic formula for every episode. And for some reason, it never seems to get old.

7. Kim Possible - This was the first ever Disney cartoon that I enjoyed. In my opinion, this show had one of the greatest vocal casts that I've ever heard. This show was great because it had action for guys. but it was also very appealing for girls as well.

6. Batman Beyond - There was a good 25 or so episodes that aired during the 2000's, so there's enough that it can count for the 2000's decade. Not only was this show a great follow up to The New Batman Adventures, but I actually enjoy these episodes more than those.

5. He-Man - It's really a shame that this show was cut off after 39 episodes. This show could've been as good as the Justice League/JLU cartoon or the 2003 TMNT cartoon. And it was rumored that Hordak and She-Ra were going to appear in the third season!

4. Justice League/JLU - The final piece of the DCAU puzzle was the best one, or at least it was in my opinion. The greatest heroes in the world provided one of my favorite cartoons of all time in this great 21st century version of the Super Friends.

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/FF/BTTS - I am still in shock that this show didn't make rabroad's list of the 25 greatest cartoons of the decade. This was exactly what a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon should be. The final 39 episodes were a step down, but that didn't take a way from the greatness of the series.

2. South Park - This show's episodes during the 2000's were far superior than the episodes from the 90's. No longer was this show just 30 minutes of potty mouth humor. This show has never had the consistency that Family Guy or the Simpsons had. But when this show has good episode, it's as good of either of those shows.

1. Family Guy - Family Guy in the 2000's was very much what The Simpsons was during the 90's. You knew that when you turned on Family Guy, there was about a 99% chance that the episode was going to be a quality one. In my opinion, what The Simpsons did during the 90's made it the greatest cartoon that I've ever seen. For what Family Guy did during the 2000's, I feel that it's the second greatest cartoon that I've ever seen.

In particular order, as ordered:

1. Justice League/JLU
2. King of the Hill
3. Spongebob Squarepants
4. Batman: The Brave and the Bold
5. Futurama
6. Batman Beyond
7. Cromartie High School
8. Teen Titans
9. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
10. Robot Chicken

Honorable mention:

- Superman: The Animated Series (finished in 2000)
- Dai-Guard (finished in 2000)
- Homestarrunner.com? Could it count? I think it should! ;)
- The Simpsons (a few decent ones here and there)
