I'm not the biggest DreamWorks fan, but visually, this looks pretty great, and the concept sounds interesting. Plus, Stephen Colbert voices the president. What's not to love.

This is looking pretty good. The designs are a lot more interesting to look at then a lot of Dreamwork's films (especially the Shrek films and Bee Movie). But I'm agreeing with Lavendarpaw that the designs look very Pixar-esque and I'll bet you anything that's intentional.

I really want to hate this for DW ripping off Pixar designs...but...

Stephen Colbert as the President? That's the most inspired casting I've heard for a parody in a good, long while. If anything, I expect the jokes and casting to be more inspired than for ____ Movie.

1. It's The Incredibles, not The Impossibles. The Impossibles was a Hanna Barbera TV series.

2. Syndromes sidekick's name is Mirage.

3. They don't look that much alike. It's not like Mirage is the 1st woman to have white hair. Emma Frost and Storm from X-Men say hello.

They dion't look that much alike and it's not like The Incredibles was the first animated film to make an animated female with white hair.

It looks pretty cool. I was thinking of how the woman looks a lot like Mirage as well.

This movie is going to be "the first CGI movie intentionally made to look 3-D."

If the whole movie is going to be gimmicky and corny with it's 3D visual effects, then I'm not going to see it. Also if they have those red-blue glasses.
Ugh.

Multi-character comparison

Look me in the eye and tell me that Mirage and the new girl don't resemble each other any more than they resemble Storm or Emma Frost. I dare you.

Not trying to knock the film - this is easily the most original concept I've heard for a major animated motion picture in a while, and I think I'm actually more excited about this than WALL-E. That said, denying the resemblance between this character and Mirage, or saying that the only similarity comes from the hair color is rather absurd, IMO.

Stephen Colbert voices the President??? I rarely care about celeb voice overs but IT IS ON!!! I wonder if there are any bear gags. Aw man, this is an '09 flick. The Disney stop-motion Christmas Carol intrigues me. WIll it be an adaptation of Mickey's Xmas Carol starring Scrooge, Donald, and Mickey?
