"Toon Zone Talkback - Witherspoon, Colbert Announced for "Monsters vs. Aliens" Cast"

I agree that that 50 foot woman is very similar in design to Mirage, not so much the hair, but the over all facial design. And that furry little monster guy looks like it walked out of Horton hears a Who, and mutated or something.

I'm really hoping this is a step above the current Dreamworks projects. Looks like it will be.

This is really making Dreamworks look bad.

Though I have to admit, the woman in MvsA looks hotter.
 
One could argue Shrek vs. Monsters Inc. That's pusing it though.

This looks interesting. Waiting to find out more, but Stephen Colbert in the cast already raises an eyebrow of interest for myself. If pulled off right, this could be really good. There's so much material from that genre to pull from, that and older folks who grew up with those flicks might give it a view (my father for one, who loves those movies).
 
Colbert piques my interest, but the directors from Shark Tale and Shrek 2 being on board tempers my enthusiasm. Well, that and it's from Dreamworks (though since I only like about 1/4 of Pixar films, it's not like I'm uber-excited for another Pixar film, but still).
