This is the talkback thread for Media Blasters Announces New March Titles Including "Queen's Blade".

Just Dragon Destiny for me. Maybe Genshiken 2 eventually, but as I said before, I still should see the first series beforehand.

Surprised to see QB get released this fast. Also surprised at the lower price point, despite that it will apparently have a dub. Hmm.
 
GGG Season 2 is all for me...& UGG...QB so soon...Oh well doesn't matter Im not buying it so I should'nt care...But the fact it was released stateside still bugs me. (But I digrese)

But yea glad to see rab is Giving GGG a rerelease.

EDIT: Also agree with weatherman's comedic statement.
 
Queen's Blade is being released so soon and it has a dub? Why can't they put this much work into something that deserves to be released? Yeah, Media Blasters is dead to me.
 
I can't be the only one thinking it, so I'll go ahead and say it.

Queens Blade looks like it's being prepped for broadcast. It's the mid 90's all over again.
 
What part of "if you release GGG season 2 with a dub" I would buy it again didn't you understand Media Blasters? Well... can't say I'm surprised.

Hopefully they'll at least release FINAL this year.
 
Hmm, with GaoGaiGar and Rayearth getting lite boxes too in the first months of 2009, perhaps I should set some cash aside....



Who would possibly air it? I can't see Adult Swim, SyFy or Spike touching this ever. It is the 90's in one regard at least, though--they're still clinging to those single-volume sales for some reason. It'll probably be a 5/4/4 split, so 13 episodes will cost a few suckers $75 MSRP.
 
Genshiken 2 for me once March comes around.

Also I look forward to TZ giving Queen's Blade a sound thrashing for the rollicking amusement of all.
 
So, of all the Media Blasters march titles, how come Queens Blade gets to be in the title when nobody here has an interest of buying it?
 
Probably because everything else on the list is either the continuation of a release or a re-release. Queen's Blade is brand new.
 
The sad thing is Queen's Blade will probably sell pretty well.

I own everything else, so Queen's Blade is a big maybe and I'd love to own it to spit in the faces of the moralists. Doing that is fun.
 
I agree with this statement whole heartedly, except mines after they release FINAL, and a complete collection of Moribito..then there dead to me...Unless they do somthing really Good &/or suprising. (Like Acquire some more retro anime seires...but for some reason I doubt they will.)
 
Queen's Blade is essentially a soft porn collection of fetishes, wrapped in a layer of sworRAB and sorcery fantasy, and with none of the 'good stuff' you tend to watch porn for. If that floats your boat, go for it. As is, if I want porn, I'll get porn...not porn that's been sanitised enough for (Japanese) Cable TV. Heck, you can even get that in fantasy versions, all done much better.

I do rather like some of the character designs, though.
