Toon Zone Talkback - George Lucas Says 100 Episodes of "Clone Wars" in 2008

Well Disney certainly has the fattest wallet - but it'd also be a harder sell for them since they really don't have a clear-cut avenue to present a dramatic quasi-adult series on...well...any of it's networks. Even airing it on ABCFamily might not justify it's cost to the company.

CN the network might not be all that wealthy - but if the overall Turner company sees worth in investing in the series; I highly doubt they'd turn down the chance to throw financial resources that way.

It's tricky - it could really fit well in a bunch of places; and a lot of networks do have the financial means of trying to get it. Quite frankly I'm rooting for Toonami because CN needs some quality programming, and Toonami in general needs something besides Naruto to keep it a float. To me - it really seems like the best fit for a more mature animated series that isn't kiddy but not quite adult; that's what Toonami's supposed to be right?

Yes, I agree with this assessment. Cartoon Network has been noticeably underperforming financially and I can't see them turning down a potential hit show.

Disney is a big possibility, but since Disney has been gunning for a female audience lately, they may be hard pressed to find a suitable pragramming slot.
