...and I can get married? Also we can enjoy each other's 'company' if you know what I mean and feel no shame or guilt for our love and there's nothing you can do about it. Also, my church married gay couples and has gay clergy.. And there's nothing you can do about this!!
Gorillaw: I don't believe in the devil

Congratz, here in Australia it's still illegal for gays to get married. Piece of crap if you ask me, but then again I'm an athiest. I'm allowed to think for myself, unlike Christians.

Wow, I made it through a whole answer while only being sarcastic in the last two words.

I could care less. But your gloating attitude doesn't make me like you any more. I didn't vote Yes on Prop 8, and I didn't gloat and neither did any of the religious people I know. But those who through a temper tantrum and lost it completely lost my respect.

This question should be directed not at religious people, but to those specific people who have a problem with gay marriage. I'm religious, but a very strong advocate of equal rights for everyone. It's not fair to group everyone together.

To answer the question, no. I'm glad you can get married. We've a lot of work to do so that everyone has that same right.

im happy for you guys the way i see it is strait people are allowed to married whom ever they want and gays should be able to also thier people to they love one another so if you really love the one your with get married and live a happy life

Im not a religious person.. but you should single out religious people... I know athiests that dont like gays and I dont religious people that LOVES gays.

You dont like to be judged.. dont judge.

Congrats and im going to my friends wedding soon as they find a state to get married in so yeah nice job

What state are you in?

Regardless, congrats, and I do hope my state follows suit soon.
It won't really impact me save I'll feel a little better about our government, but still.

You'd think that they'd focus more on sodomy, you know, the only gay-related thing that's actually a sin in the Bible?

I thought marriage had a tradition of lowering the amount of sex, though I could be mistaken.

If they wanted to go by the biblical definition of marriage, they'd also have to make polygamy legal, and I don't see that happening.

Your sin doesn't effect me at all. But it does effect your chance of eternal salvation.

Your sin effects the Body of Christ, and is a serious affront to God.

Your sin also effects society, in that marriage is degraded by extending it to people who cannot marry under God's laws.

I can't do anything about the vast majority of sins. They take place all over the world, every second of every day. All that I can do is pray for sinners, and for God's mercy on the world.

Further to that, I can only care about my own sins, and my love relationship with God.

Dear friend Ryan,
No.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (Holy Bible Hebrews 9:27)

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Holy Bible Philippians 2:11)

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (Holy Bible 2 Corinthians 5:10)

Not really I mean if the people want to take it back they can, look at California. They have a hefty gay population but you fellas still can't get hitched.
