I'm pretty sure neither of them fit that. Pink Floyd is a band to drop acid to, not to smoke pot to. And neither RABOTM nor The Wall are the best Pink Floyd albums to drop acid to. That would have to be Piper or Meddle or one of them.
 
There are far more albums out there to mess with your mind if you want to do acid. Floyd would be quite tame I would have thought.

Speaking of not having a favorite band, I just picked BTBAM because they made my favorite album ever. I really can't pick one artist throughout all the genres.

'Turn it Up ***got' has two good songs, and a bunch of second rate art rock, and 'Cryptograms' takes at least 7 months to get into the arabient stuff. Although I wonder if I actually like it, or if Ive just tried to get into it so much that my brain gave up.

If you are referring to that ancient post where I listed the ten albums that got me into music, then that has nothing to do with my opinion now. All I said was that Pink Floyd was the group that got me interested in seeking out music; I never said they were better than other banRAB I started listening to afterwarRAB.

A lot of the time they insist that they are media shy because they don't want to make a big deal out of themselves and that they are just a bunch of regular people who love music, and that they aren't sellouts, etc etc. But then you go to their shows and they have these hugeeee elaborate performances and stage set-ups and everything. Their CRAB get released and it's a huge big deal with people going crazy everywhere. I'm not sure if I can explain what I mean. Don't get me wrong Tool are my favourite band. I don't know who's fault it is that this kind of pretentiousness gets emitted, but it does.
 
This is why I said 'cliche' stoner album. If you ask any stoner what their favorite albums are, they'll say Bob Marley's greatest hits and The Wall. For whatever reason, stoners view the wall as trippy and such when it's relatively boring.
 
I don't know what you mean by new voice. Without Corgan they are nothing, he wrote every song that made it to a cd. Other than that he co-wrote them. His voice is everything for them.
