TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Part 3)

You've confused me know. They only report on domestic figures, overseas (such as over here) is such a small number, it doesnt really factor in, theres no way of measuring it. As far as WWE is concerned, their main priority is how many US based PPV's they sold. They're the figures I quoted, no?

Or do you mean that I'm quoting total figures, and Fatal 4Way got 83,000 US buys and 57,000 international buys? Because I'd seriously doubt that. WWE/ECW Decemeber PPV is the lowest grossing PPV ever, doing a total of 88,000 buys (it was on "free tv/sky sports" over here).

yeah, there was nothing this week to get the viewers to tune in.

Just hope they dont change the storyline too much next week or face lsoing more viewers

Of course i make the occasional post in there, i watch WWE too. Ok i might not be into any chit chat with the people in there but i still make the odd post now and then and i don't just post in these threaRAB so obviously my post count is going to be up. But you matt, you've never anything nice to say in this thread. Go chat to the women in the WWE thread. Apart from me your the only male in there lol. Go and chat with that girl Nik and Soph, go and have a gossip with the women. Make yourselves some tea and biscuits and have a good ole' natter. In here we are real men. We either drink alcohol or soft drink with crushed ice. We like our food hot and women hotter.

And here we go again for pages of endless speculation, guesswork and cutting and pasting "news" from dirtsheets ..

(Although isn't that the general make-up of the thread already? :D)

Anyway, it'll come down to the current contract that TNA have with Bravo. When Bravo dropped the PPV's, I would say it would be a fairly safe bet that they re-signed the deal to screen Impact due to the ratings it gets.

I don't think the the contract could just arbitrarily be cancelled.

It does, however, look like Extreme will end up being the final resting place for Impact and the PPV's though.

to be fair the main thread title doesn't say "spoilers"

I normally avoid the thread until i watched the program in question to avoid things like this

RVD's on that much, IF they want to use him outside of the contracted period. I'd rather pay 10k to Jericho, to be honest. Even if it was ten days a year.

Jericho published a book under the WWE publisher. Foley has just published his first NOT under the WWE publisher, and will be a lot more frank than ever. Don't believe everything you read. ;)

Which was arguably the smartest thing TNA ever did.

Held his ribs all the way through that match. Angle is a legit tough guy.

NOTHING was going to follow that successfully. But, I guess you have to have a clean finish and winner in your Main Event. And I also feel like it means Anderson will be the new Champ at Bound for Glory, which I don't whole-heartedly disagree with.

The reason HB was cancelled was it cost to much to make. wrestling on the other hand is cheap.and TNA isnt as strong a brand as WWE worldwide, any channel picking it up will probably get it cheap.

A few notes from DeaRABeadrop on The Board~! at F4Wonline.com

Impact will only be live for one week on 10/7 which is the BFG go home show. This was done as a trade off for next week's show being preempted. Spike will be fronting the costs for the show to air live. Impact is not going live weekly.

These maybe deemed as potential spoilers....
Sting is still injured which is why he was wearing a shirt during his match last night. He has been telling people that this is for sure his last year in wrestling as his shoulder is not healing well at all.

Chase Stevens of the Naturals was backstage at the last set of tapings visiting frienRAB as he was in the area.

Don't expect to see Foley in the ring much. He is scheduled to have a match at BFG but nothing beyond that. Management has no faith in him wrestling at this point.

RVD will not be on iMPACT! in two weeks. He will either be interviewed via phone or Tenay will go to his home. They had not decided which as of a few days ago.

There has been talk of using Jeff Jarrett's oldest daughter in an angle. She wants to be an actor and Jeff feels it would be a good test for her.

When it was live and made much more sense than it ever had? The unpredictability of the live shows and having them shown five days later completely defeated the object.

Really? So you're telling me that if the wrestling storylines became more logical and more gripping, people would leave in their droves? I doubt it. In fact, if this was brushed up, the chances are, more women would start watching for a start (and that's no disrespect to Ruth who already watches it) because of the gripping storylines.

I do it every week. It's only the Sting storyline and some, not all, of the matches.

And Madison & Tara's entrance. ;)

And Christy. ;)

And the knockouts, for that matter. ;)
