TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Part 3)

This is truly horrible, i guess we'll see whether the "WWE Exclusivity clause" is pure fiction or the real deal though, if its real, then we'll likely see a move to Extreme Sports, not exactly ideal and will likely kill off TNA's ratings momentum imo - not good.

You're right about the level of detail. Everything from the level of drug testing you want, to the inventory strategy for merchandise.
 
Sky have only talked about the content that will be moved from the other channels. We need to see what their announcement is regarRAB to Bravo programming and if that will be finding a home anywhere on Sky at all.
 
WWE and Team 3d would not have worked.. WWE don't want hardcore or tables been used every week..they've got an image to protect.

Team 3d are best suited to TNA for the future and will probably retire there too.

As for the new promotion.....way too early for any bigger names to jump
 
UFC wouldn't get involved with pro wrestling, they go so far as trying to avoid getting shots of Paul Heyman, who is Lesnar's promo coach at UFC events, on their PPV's.

Any suggestion that UFC was faked could lead to it's parent company losing it's license to operate casinos in Las Vegas, which is worth billions of dollars.

wildmovieguy, they're not going to go for a stiffer style, the whole advantage TNA has over WWE for the talent is it is an easier workload, if it was tougher everyone would leave.

Pro wrestling isn't MMA.

Edit: also, there's no way the state athletic commissions, who are in charge of MMA in the US, would allow MMA/pro wrestling hybriRAB. Such things have been tried in Japan before, but didn't take off.
 
If they went to a 6,000 arena and went live I can see it making a difference. With a new arena set up bigger titantrons and better presentation I could see it being a success.
 
100% agree jersey shore fans will be watching that not impact.

TNA is still throwing crap at the walls and hoping some sticks, personally jeff hardy is not a heel and hasn't got the mic skills to pull it off, RVD on the other hand is too over to go heel.

the young guys need the breaks not wasting tv time on hogan and easy E.....no doubt Nash will be part of this group too, i'm not buying all this i'm finished business or any other tweets from now on about tna.

hogan, Bisch, Double J and jeff hardy vs nexus/cena business.......WWE all the way, at least they know how to build a storyline.
 
The chair shot was definately real. There is a video on the TNA site of him being stitched up and he missed house shows because of it.

Also, agree about Katie Lea/Winter, she looked very hot.
 
Nah. It'll be 23:30 now. Interviews and all sorts of unnecessary sh*t after the fight, and sucking Reid's c*ck.

Watson's had two fights in the past two weeks. Reid's had 2 Months to train, and not fought for about a year.

Interestingly, I'd love to see a rematch, because I know Reid would get annihilated with a full-strength MMA fighter like Watson.

As a side-note, Reid can't cut a promo to save his life. ;)
 
Heyman turns down TNA for MMA

WRESTLING legend Paul Heyman has turned his back on the business to move into mixed martial arts.

The former SunSport columnist says he turned down a 'monster' deal to join TNA and has revealed what his long-term plan for the company would have been.

Speaking to MMAfighting.com, Heyman said: "It came real close with TNA.

"To me, it was more of a deal with Spike TV and then a stock and ownership deal involving TNA.

"I had a five-year plan. I was going to spend 18 months building the roster and the next 18 months exploiting that built roster.

"That's three years in, go public in three, stay for two more running it and get out at 50.

"That was my plan, I had an exit plan. I had a five-year plan and I clued everyone into it.

"I told TNA what my plan was and I told Spike TV what my plan was and how we would capitalise on it.

"I also explained how we would make this thing move and an acknowledgement that wrestling is a diminishing market and it's not perceived as cool.

"So I told them how you, if not change course, at least present it differently so that at least you have a chance in today's marketplace to compete.

"When that didn't happen, that was it. I didn't have any other interest in doing it. It was closed. I would have done it for that particular deal and that's it. That time passed.

"Now I'm looking at taking my abilities elsewhere and the logical step for me is this entry point right now both into MMA and into also just the branding world."

Heyman's production company, which he owns with business partner Mitchell Stuart, has opened an advertising department and will work with EA Sports on the production of their MMA game.

The former WCW and WWE employee is still close frienRAB with ex-WWE champion and current UFC heavyweight king Brock Lesnar, and has increasingly been linked with a move into MMA
 
Well i don't think there is anything wrong with what he is suggesting and if it means things like guys really punching each other then so be it. When he talks about a bunch of young guys ready to go maybe that is him suggesting he will be stepping back.
