TNA Wrestling on Bravo (Part 3)

because storylines are so good you actually want to see them fight each other

back in attitude era there wernt long matches on raw,but dont tell me people didnt wanna see them hook up on ppv

this weeks show was grea, tthe rating was great, and it sbecause it wasnt watered down with wrestling

theres a time and a place thats all im saying,i may not agree with what you find interesting but im still a fan of the wrestling biz for nearly 20 years, just find different aspects of it more interesting than others

Utter horses**t tonight. I'm watching til 10-10-10 in some sort of misguided loyalty. After that, if it doesn't pick up, and sharp, then i'm signing out of Pro Wrestling for good.

I'm finding the FFWD of Sky+ increasingly used. Such a shame.

Of course those clauses usually invole a fee and would most likely mean that TNA were free to take their product to another network right away.

Challenge is staying Sky have increased the budget and are moving it to the Virgin/Channel1 slot on Freeview

That came out the day all this kicked off. I put it down to the Daily Star looking around places like this and seeing us discussing the possibility of the 'exclusivity clause.'

It doesn't confirm it being there, but it does widen the audience that will speculate if it is true or not, maybe as far as TNA and Sky themselves.

This is Bravo just riding the coattails of Katie Price's success on ITV2. Only manning it up. He'll get the piss beaten out of him, that is guaranteed. Not won in four years? Doesn't stand a chance...

I wouldn't be. 300,000 viewers a week (acc. to BARB) makes them a seriously attractive proposition to anyone. ESPECIALLY Freeview channels.

Ex. Sports will be the back-up as you say. That much is just logical, even if TNA are notorious for being not-so.

Hogan should have retired years ago, Flair should have stayed retired, TNA is still nonsensical a lot of the time, I'm not sure if Jeff Hardy as a heel is going to help anything in the long term and the lack of wrestling on iMPACT was laughable.

But despite all of that I have to admit I'm enjoying TNA at the moment!

You mentioning EWR has just led me to find a Booking Simulator that i never knew existed. I've always wanted one!

As for 01-10-10, whilst technically it's incorrect, it does actually represent 26 in binary - (00)01 1010.

I would like to think that if TNA ever moved arena's they would pack it out. But they obviously don't have the fan base of WWE and they would lose money which would be one of the nails in TNA's coffin.

Everything has been taped for the rest of this month.

I've noticed for years now that online news sites don't really spoil many big returns now or or storylines whereas 10 years they used to do it all the time now. Maybe that is because there are no really big surprises left in wrestling and no real big must see storylines. Even some of the storylines in TNA right now like the 'them' storyline, there isn't even any speculation about it or what it is or who it is. Both companies seem to be good at keeping their surprises secret.

while i'll be happy to be proved wrong, i'm going to disagree with that. i'll agree there's probably a number of options on the contract that can be taken up or not. but i cannot see any logic or sense in flextech having a clause saying that if they are sold, the purchasing company can just sit on the various contracts they'd inherit and do nothing with them.

If you're going to go there, you'd obviously have to level the same accusation at the WWE .. and all of professional wrestling.

The Living TV Group is just the new name for Flextech, which Sky purchased. So Challenge is still wholly owned by Sky, as is Living TV.

So there really is no reason for Impact to end up on a gameshow channel.

If he is done with TNA then I'd say Vince McMahon has his first inductee for next year's hall of fame. Especially if it's going to be WCW-themed like has been suggested.

I understand them wanting to cut costs by staying in one place, but in some ways, staying in one place should allow them better oppertunity to 'dress the set'. Change it up a bit to make PPVs look different/special. Look at what looks good/bad/cheap and make corrections.

In fairness they did make a start by changing the old wooden boarRAB that seperated the standing crowd with those in the stanRAB, to a chainlink fence, as it makes the crowd look more like one continual entity, making it look like more people are watching..

Tonights impact on bravo has been pushed back 2 hours.

it's not aired at 9.00 like usual tonight.

it's 11.00 tonight, this week, 2 hours later than usual.
