Do you anti-gun fanatics have ANY evidence.... polls, statistical evidence etc, that CC in a bar/restaurant has caused any violence, death or injury??????????...................................................(other than crimes being being committed and the CC'er intervening )

your Honor, I move that this case be dismissed based upon LACK OF EVIDENCE!

C'mon, show me some.....ANY evidence! Whatchu got?

"It hasn't happened to me so it's beyond belief"...to answer your ignorant question..." what kind of faggot shit goes on in the hinterland where you need to have a gun at a bar because of arguments and bullshit "

As a group, commercial establishments such as restaurants, bars, and hotels suffered 14.6 percent of robberies, with a $1,676 average loss per robbery..... Various other locations, such as bars or cafes, make up the remaining 17.7 percent of robbery targets.

I would hate for some drunk to overpower the sober guy and get hold of the gun. Probably better not to have a gun in there than to risk that. Hmm...

Most people who own guns never draw them except for target practice. As much disdain I have for cops, the vast majority of them don't draw their guns without good cause. This gun owner who "draws down" on a guy for scuffing his shoes just doesn't exist, except for lunatic criminals who already have guns - even CONCEALED - and are the reason more law abiding citizens should carry.

Well gee, I think the general assumption is that at least in a restaurant there is some support for the argument that you may be there to do something other than drink.

See this really doesn't work in a bar though, because drinking is its primary purpose. It's also much more likely to be filled with other people who, despite your responsible standing and fascination with watching other people drink, are busy impairing their judgement. Oh and your second paragraph does not make sense.

i'm all for gun rights, but too much stupid shit has the potential to happen around alcohol, even if you're not drinking.

Probably the same ones who will draw their guns at an impaired person who is acting belligerent towards them.

Defense? I am not the one trying to defend the logic of not allowing someone to carry a firearm because they magically enter a building that serves beer when they themselves are not drinking. They are not making others drink or not drink. They only have control over their actions.

Hence why the open container analogy is stupid because if it is in your car you are the one that made the decision to either bring it in there or let someone else bring it in there. That is a little bit different than sitting down to eat a burger and the guy at the table behind, who you don't know, orders a beer. If you have a gun on you, you are suddenly breaking the law? Nice.

robbery is different. and if the criminal is any kind of good, the gun in your pocket is of zero effectiveness when you are looking at a barrel.

They serve alcohol in bars. Alcohol is also served in restaurants. Bars and restaurants therefore are the same thing.

Thats the logic I'm seeing.

the only people who are assuming that everyone would have a gun are the extremely anti- gun assholes, who are exactly as fucking retarded as the extremely pro-gun people
