Titanic.

I kinda know what you mean.....however, me and my wife (then girlfriend) watched it at the big Odeon screen at Leicester Square and I have to say, the film was definitely made for the big screen and the stunning visuals really made you buy into the whole film. On a home cinema system, it doesn't quite pack the same punch....

Also the angle the two halves of the ship went down at would have led to the lifeboats careering nose or stern first down the decks smashing into things, diving under, filling with the water and basically killing all their passengers one way or another!

I was forced to see that film a few years ago. It is 2 hours or so of my life I will never get back. It is possibly the worst film I have ever seen. Total cobblers from start to finish.

When Jack disappeared under the water - and I dont care if it spoils the ending for anyone - I was hoping someone from a lifeboat would give Kate a good crack around the back of the head with one of the oars so she could follow Jack in.

If you want to see a film with real emotion and conviction go and see "The Counterfeiters".

Oh and Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to everyone! :D

Lol. I remember thinking that at the time, and it's even more obvious now. It's a shame, because Kate Winslet is so much better than him in every way. I wish they'd cast someone else in Leo's role.

Visually it's a beautiful film but it does drag a bit (the first 20 minutes are tedious) and if I hear that bl**dy song one more time...
