Titanic on BBc1

No Titanic was filmed in Super 35 as all Cameron films (bar Aliens) are. Try and get a copy of Cameron's article on the aspect ratios of his films which he included in the Pan and Scan Laser Disc version of Terminator 2 (his preferred version.)

In this process, a large frame is filmed (top and bottom), in theatres, a middle proportion is used for widescreen projection, when it is converted to fullscreen VHS (and now DVD) the top and bottom of the film is exposed.

You can tell when a real panavision film is scanned for TV.

The LV Monogram has been around since 1896, so its quite possible that she got her "new money" and took herself shopping for the most fabulous luggage she could find. (And that fetch hat... :p )

I wouldn't look forward to it too much...if it was that good we wouldn't have had to wait seven years for it. Also, it was probably trimmed from the original to make the film a mere 3 hours in length.

it bought back memories of when i liked leonardo years ago when i first saw it at the cinema. in the ending when rose dies do you think shes going to "heaven" when you see her back on the titanic going to jack? if that is her getting reunited with jack when she dies i doubt her husband would approve.

The new DVD coming out sounRAB good.

Theres also said to be an option where you can watch the 58 mins of deleted scenes in there places in the movie.

Also theres an alternate ending :D

First time I saw the film I thought she was just dreaming. Thats until I was told by countless number of people that she actually died at the end in her sleep. Now everytime I watch it I relise shes died.

The 4 disk set the UK is getting is the same as the 3 disk set Americas gettings. Its just where getting the soundtrack to the movie included too. For anyone who wondered about that.

i mostly agree...though this time, because there was better on else where, i only whatched the 'second' half....so from 'drawing' room to the big sink ....what you might call "the tits on ice" cut
