Time To Port Out...ST or TMobile?

After once having 3 lines with PP, I'm now ready to port out my last line. Why? Called this past Thursday and Friday about mid day here in California..both days approximately 25-35 calls and could NOT get through. Tried connecting via my phone on the PP refill number and when prompted to the credit card part, call drops. Seriously, this is the absolute worst company in any industry that I have had the misfortune of trying to reach c/s. Rant over...port time.

Likes and dislikes of ST $30. month plan w/flat 1000 mins. or TMobile $49. plan w/1000 anytime mins/unlimited txt, unlimited nights/weekends, talk/text. Both are no contract plans. My area shows strong signal strength for both. Am I correct that ST runs on Verizon towers? I do like TMobile phones (Samsung Gravity), but have seen mixed reviews on the ST Samsung R451. Guess I'm asking is TMo worth the extra $20. a month? Or is ST decent bang for the buck with c/s service on par with TMo?

You should just get the new Tmobile talk/text/mms unlimited $50 plan with nearly full Tmobile postapid roaming. It will give you an unprecedented level of freedom in choosing what kind of phones you want with no airtime limits.

Straight Talk does run on Verizon towers with NO roaming. If you are outside of Verizon native, you get zero signal. But, Verizon's native network is often close in size to the full network of other carriers...

For phone choice: Tmobile. For coverage: Straight Talk.

Page Plus had both.

If you want to know about those services why don't you post in the ST or Tmobile forums since what you are asking has zero to do with pageplus

I've been a T-Mo2Go customer for years. Of the various providers CS I've dealt with (VZW, Trac, PPC and T-Mo) T-Mo is the best. Every time I've called I get a person who speaks English as their native tongue. Problems, and there have been few are handled eagerly.

I like the versatility GSM technology provides. I bought a used T-Mo phone off CraigsList a few days ago. I slipped my SIM card in and the transfer of service was complete.

I called T-Mo for an unlock code for my "new" phone on Saturday. I and the CSR yuked it up a bit as he gathered information. I received the code in an email yesterday (Sunday).....no charge of course.

As a PayGo customer T-Mo's CPM and perhaps some coverage issues is the only reason they are not my sole provider. The year expiry makes it the ideal "spare" phone.
