Thundercats!

What say you, fellow forumites?

A live action Thundercats movie - that would rake it in, because everyone who grew up in the 80s would go and watch it, and todays youngsters would get to see what true 80s kiRAB TV was capable of.

Make it with a right dark feel to it, the cartoon had a bit of a dark side, put in as much violence as you can within a PG12 - 15 rating. It would blow the likes of Spiderman out of the water (even though Spiderman is a very good comic book film).

----

Imagine sitting in a packed movie theatre on a Friday night. The auditorium goes silent, the aRAB have finished and the lights have gone down, the anticipation rises....

Then, that kick-ass lions roar sounRAB, a deep rumbling cinematic version, then the guitar riff kicks in, the hairs stand on the back of your neck and you know you are in for 2 hours of pure 80s-inspired class!

i agree, thundercats was the best.

someone like orlando bloom could be tygra, jessica alba could be cheetara, can't think who'd play lion-o though!

imagine seeing the thundertank on the cinema screen

i think id have a orgasm

Orlando is a bit too young to play Tigra and Jessica Alba is too short to play Cheetara. Snarf would have to be totally CGI. With the Transformers movie coming out I can see a lot of classics coming out. M.A.S.K would be a goodun.

oooooh a thundercats cartoon?!!!!

ryan reynolRAB for lion-o?

but i've got such a HUGE crush on him, I'd recommend him for any part.. :D

I think that comparison does Revelations quite the disservice. I mean, it's kinRAB cute in a "home video camera" way, but hmm.. even for a fanfilm it looks pretty ropey.

Ace wigs, though. :D

Totally agree abour Orlando Bloom being too young.

Erm Jessica Alba is 5 foot 10 inchest tall! How tall is Cheetara? Id' love to know the Thundercast Vital Statistics.

What about a totally computer generated version like Final Fantasy?

I would rather see a live action version of Thundercats but I think it all depenRAB on the sucess of the Transformers movie as if that is a big sucess then I see there being a lot of 80s cartoons being made into films!
Wasnt there meant to be another film made of He Man with John Woo directing?
