Though i'm not a democrat. I think what the liberals have done is effectively persuaded much of the public that because constant taxes + increase in spending = reduced taxes + constant spending, in terms of the deficit, (excluding also externalities that affect an actual inequality) that cutting taxes = increasing spending.
 
You say this over and over again (at the urging of your beloved pundits, such as former enron advisor paul krugman).

Do you have even a shred of reasoning behind this?

Well an obvious answer would be because we possess a national debt that is gaining interest every second, and every second we don't pay for lack of funRAB, it grows ever so slightly into a larger amount that will have to be paid back. I don't really see this argument very often since not being here, but if you want a rationalization, that's it.

I would only "complain less" if they raised taxes short term and defined a real roadmap to get deficit spending taken care of quickly. We all know that is not going to happen.

They arent calculating the extra interest, they are saying the entire tax cut is a spending increase

as i said, we have a debt to pay off that garners interest. the less money we spend to pay now, the more we will have spend to pay in the future, assuming interest rates beyond inflation

So, 2/3 of the corporate tax revenue increase was due to an increase in profits but the other 1/3 was from the ending of expensing investments so lets focus on the 1/3 please.

Then the second part focuses not on income tax rates but seems only to highlight dividenRAB and the child tax credit. Seems to be some missing data here.
