I'm Fifteen, and need a little help
Anyone have ideas for the different cultures, and events i could add into the story?
Its about two girls who live among us humans.
They discover they have these supernatural powers, asana can control the element fire, and Ayla is still in the process of discovering hers, (she Dark though, which is another element) anyway, they later find whole clans of people with these powers, there’s Earth(something about earth: earth is split into 2 separate groups, one half can manipulate the soil, rocks minerals ect, with the other can manipulate plant life.), Air, Water, Fire, Lightning (kind of a unique group) and then Light (who can heal) and Dark (still thinking of a unique trait for them, but thinking of Shadow Walking). Light and Dark can control all the other five elements (limited) On there journey the girls discover that there is a very strong prejudice against the Dark, and among a few other clans. Why against the dark? Well there was a king of the Dark clan who was corrupted with this plague (the conflict of the story is destroying this corruption)he then turned evil, so then ppl decided the Dark were all evil. It is true the dark are more vulnerable to this plague, but that’s what makes them so GOOD, the fact that they are fighting it so hard. When Ayla (who's dark) falls in love with a light warriors apprentice, and Asana the Prince of the Water clan, they realize with renewed reason how bad the prejudice is, My story is about changing the prejudice, and defeating the Dark King(who is actually Ayla s Father). (Titan, the light warrior, was banished from the light kingdom when they realized he was in love with a dark warrior, he never finished his training) There are also a few side bad guys, like a group of human scientist who want to experiment on the people with powers (have yet to come up with a name fo them) My story begins with Ayla being chased by these scientist, though at the time she doesnt no why.
Guardians: in my story the first born female of each Top(kind of like a capital of an element) gets a guardian.
