This is England 86 (Spoilers)

Most of it was filmed in Gleadless in Sheffield as a lot of the previous locations have been demolished plus Warp Films who produced are based in Sheffield and Screen Yorkshire offered money to film there.

Facebookers are up in arms about the rape scene.

The way I see if, if an audience is left feeling comfortable and easy after a rape scene, then the director hasn't done his job properly. It's supposed to be disturbing!

You've certainly got an apt username there!

I think it's a great show and very watchable.

It's nothing like the Shameless-style programme of 2010; it's far grittier, bleaker and a lot more thought has gone into it.

It's very lazy to just think it's about 'scumbag northerners.... Oh, it's another Shameless then'.

The characters and their stylings are unique, but the stories are akin to something like 'The Street' which hardly a bad thing. Meadows was never going to be able to please everyone. 4 years is a long time in the show, and clearly, real life too, ironically.

Now that was more like it. Very good episode and more in line with the tone of the film than the previous episodes imo.

I wouldn't be surprised if the man who gets killed turns out to be Woody or Milky. It's bound to end on a downbeat note, and Lols father getting killed sounRAB too predictable to me.

He's back tonight , the commentator on channel 4 who just introduced the Simpsons just said so, something along the lines of "Don't miss This is England 86 tonight, the disturbing Combo makes a return"

Exciting!!

Another thing I noticed at the end when the music played over various charachters it showed Smell making a cake to appologise to Carrot Bum. She's a lovley wee charachter and I like the way the have developed her from film to series. One of the success.
