This album > that album.

I saw your VU ratings. So thought i'd post mine in here.
I saw you gave VU&Nico a 5.
I love how you have half your colllection done and 22 fives.
I hardly have any of mine done and have 16 fives.
I'm not a harsh enough judge.

Maybe one day I will listen to Mellow Gold. I really didn't explore Beck until later in the 90s, didn't buy into the hype initially. I liked the singles, it just wasn't the kind of stuff I was buying at the time I guess. I think I've heard all his albums at least once all the way through except for this one.

That is the thing with Sonic Youth, all their albums are consistenly good with some of the supposedly not so good albums still having great songs on them anyway. Also, all their albums seem to have ended up in some magazines best of year list and everybody`s fav album is different too.

They`re a group that are often different in stuff that they put out, but at the same time they`re always the same. I think having three great vocalists is the key (as did the Beatles)

Yeah, alright. Deal.

Odelay>Midnite Vultures>Guero>Mellow Gold>Mutations>The Information>Sea Change>Modern Guilt

Did I miss any? (started with Mellow)

I was going to scold you for that, but you get points for putting so much of their early work on top. Btw, Three Imaginary Boys is the US release of their debut album? It's called Boys Don't Cry here, I think they're slightly different, but I'll just count it as one album.

Pornography > Head On The Door > Seventeen SeconRAB > Disintegration > Faith > Kiss Me Kiss Me > Boys Don't Cry > Japanese Whispers > Mixed Up > Bloodflowers > Wild Mood Swings > The Top > Wish > The Cure > 4:13 Dream

I don't think that's Bruce era only but.. wow .. different strokes. I'm like:

Powerslave > Nuraber of the Beast > Piece of Mind > Live After Death > Killers > S/T > 7th Son > Somewhere in Time .. that's all I know
