The White Stripes

I love how you write my full name out, I'd do the same but I don't think I have the patience. Point is, your opinion can have some backup to it, not just stone-faced declarations.

And may I just point out that your first statement here makes your original statement null in void. You either believed that there was fact when you said "they weren't" or didn't know when you said "there is no fact" but you can't believe both sir, now which is it exactly?

lol ok ive decided theres 5 good songs on the album. blue orchid, forever for her (is over for me), little ghost, instinct blues and red rain.

On White Blood Cells? Oh come on now. Aluminum?

To me, they really don't have one. Its as if one more good song on each album would push it over the edge but they all have equal greatness and equal flaws.

If I had to pick one though I would say that GBMS has some of the better songs that carry on. Doorbell, Little Ghost, Take,Take,Take, I'm Lonely, Instinct Blues, Denial Twist.

To be fair though, while it has most of my favorite stripes songs, the ones I don't like are some of the worst since the s/t album.

yeah so was mine. I'm guessing it was the first record with radio hits, but Elephant should have eclipsed it by a wide margin.

Although, interestingly enough for me, I thought that The radio singles from WBC's were on whole better than Elephants (barring 7NA which was a mushroom cloud of pure rock ecstacy) though I think Elephant had more appealing songs than WBC. (Ball and a Biscuit was a groove that made you wanna ****, and Girl, You have no Faith in Medicine won over the most ardent Stripes haters)

Ok i'm new to this site and i had to catch up,now here's my story. I,like most people, didnt know who the White Stripes were until i heard 7NA and then i liked them but not like i do now. What changed things for me was when i heard Icky Thump (the whole album not the single). I thought this was their best cd,but up until then i only had Elephant and White Blood Cells and i only liked maybe 2 songs off them. Anyway so then i went out and bought all their cRAB in the same day and i was never the same again LOL I also bought Under Blackpool Lights the same day. That dvd hasn't left my player! I watch it every day. I went from being a casual fan to practically dropping my entire life to obsess over them. My favorite songs are Jolene and Little Cream Soda. I am driving 5 hours to see them in October and i dont know how i'm going to make it that long. Anyway, thats my story. Peace out everyone. Jack White is God!!!

I like metal but i also like the blues and the white stripes didn't think much of their last album though can't wait for the new album though and tour.
