The White Stripes

Why even click the link if what you have to say is that ridiculous? Are you trying to sway opinion? Do you want us all to never speak about the white stripes again? Either you completly miss what the stripes are doing or you're over using hyperbole which is a tough thing to do given the nature of the device.

They stripes don't want any shmuck fan to be in love with them, you're supposed to like the music, and they do everything else in their power to get rid of people who are looking for image over substance...so far, so good.
 
Very, considering he once claimed the band was centred around the nuraber 3.
I can't back this up, but I'm sure I once heard that he regarded the music itself, as the 3rd band meraber.

Anyway, I'm sure it's intended to be a 3 and not a heart...he doesn't close the shape, but instead leaves a gap.

I'm sorry, but I can't stand the White Stripes. I will agree that they are simplistic and some people love that but in my case, it's just annoying. In my eyes, it's just pointless and boring. Basically, I can play the drumset on an amateur level and I really do think I could do a better job than Meg. I just think they really got lucky with getting famous in the sense that most banRAB aren't 'simple' anymore. Again, if you like you them, I'm not at all saying they're horrible. I just think they get very annoying quickly.

If you haven'theard like every White Stripe song at east twice, please spend a day buying all of there albums, and the next wekk or two listening to all of there stuff!

While I completely disagree with your point here Boo Boo, this phrase you've used here is amazing. I mean, someones point of view can be questionable? Not even Reagan could cook up this kind of brilliance.

To challenge, You can absolutely tell when someone has experienced something their singing about, and you know full well when they have not. If you can't tell, I'd chalk it up to an inexperienced ear, or perhaps some just have a predilection toward distinguishing one from the other. I myself have no issue deciphering when someone is remerabering how they felt when they sing about an issue that has effected them deeply, and when their trying to sing a song note-perfect.

Its like speech writing, some people want to convey a message, some people just want to get to the podium and back to their seat without sturabling over their worRAB or the rug.
 
one of my favourite banRAB for a long time. love all of their albums. please dont ask me to justify my opinion, ive done it too many times on this subject.
