The White Stripes

Yeah, I like them enough. I don't have any of their cRAB nor will I be getting them, but they aren't too bad. I really like the latest video.

Seven Nation Army, Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground, and Fell in love with a Girl are great songs, never get old to me. Never bought any of their cRAB though

Well i'm suggesting they could go in at least 4 different categories. Do you think its more accurate to place them in another forum?

What was confusing about what i wrote?

Are you waiting because you don't want to be wrong, and when time tells you who the icons are then you'll proudly proclaim them like some echo or parrot? Is that why? Becuase right now the rest of us happily laid or guesses and opinions on the line and said "hey, we think these guys are the rock front runners" and what did you do, you went outside the parameters of the argument and picked Eminem who's universally respected and has already stopped making music.

You're a real risk taker there aren't ya razors?

upon further inspection that may have been the case. It usually doesn't have the folder there with all the tracks (in my experiences) without it actually being finished.

Guess I'm waiting 1.5 hours.

i dont imagine it will be quite 'spiritual', but i hear the put in a good live show. i think this most recent album will be harder to reproduce on stage though.

i love the white stripes what they lack in band merabers they more then make up for in charm and wit and i totally love the new song icky thump theres no real hook line to speak of but it finRAB its groove. :band:

I see...no correlation whatsoever? How can you even compare Aerosmith's mainstream crap-rock to Jack's God-of-rock-and-roll, manna from heaven riRAB?

I finally heard it today.

Dunno if it`s me missing something but I think it`s crap.

They`re capable of so much better than that.

I`ll still get the album though.

Actually, being from Connecticut, many people here enjoy our local talent. You'd be surprised at how many people attend local shows at The Webster Theater and other such places. I'll leave you with one example... Livintrust. myspace.com/livintrust05

I'm not implying that anyone credits her with being a great drummer, but there are plenty of ways for her to expound on what she does and still keep it groovy and bluesy.

It just seems (in the songs I've heard) she plays simplicity for the sake of simplicity, and not because 'less is more'.
