The " Waterloo Road" series 6 thread

I don't think the show is as predictable as people are saying apart from the Ruby and Janeece story I dont think there is much else that I can guess will happen. Even so predictable isn't that bad is it?

I much prefer the characters, student and adult this series than the last. I'm loving Jess like some other posters have said, she's desperate but likeable. The whole family is pretty good actually although not a huge fan of the Dad's character.

The actor who plays Harry is 15, he was born on 31 Aug 95 - the last possible day to be in a year: so Harry should be in Year 9 - the oldest of his year, or Year 10 if he has skipped a year...
Jack McMullen (Finn) was born on 22/02/91, so would be re-sitting his A Levels this year hehe. Sorry to be pedantic... Also Jack obviously goes down the gym hahaha.
Are they really supposed to be in the same class ????

You forget that Chris is supposed to be deputy head, in Rachel Mason's days it was obvious, but this series Karen seems to run the school single handed.

All the TV mags have splashed 'Steph is back' all over their pages this week, for what? A 1 minute cameo at the end of the episode!

As others have said, none of the students are remotely likeable this season.

It was a good episode but I'm starting to get really annoyed with the lack of continuity in Waterloo Road...every series we're just supposed to accept these random changes!

- As mentioned, there's no interaction between Amy and Finn anymore and no follow up to Finn's breakdown. It's as if the main story of last season never happened.

- I think it's fair enough when the older group of students get written out each year, it's just natural progression, but it bothers me how teachers always get written out without any mention at the end/beginning of each series; Miss Koreshi, Mr Wilding, Rose Kelly and Candice...and where's the french department this year?

- Pupils like Siobhan and Denzil have just disappeared. They couldn't just add a line in from Amy or Sam to explain it, like a passing comment or something? If new pupils have come in does that mean Amy etc have only just gone into sixth form? So why weren't Finn and Amy doing their GCSEs at the end of summer? Makes no sense!

- I know they keep pointing out that Ruby still doesn't have that much money, but it's a bit unbelievable that she was having to steal school property and now somehow over the summer has become able to support a newborn child.

On the plus side, I like Karen and her family lol

Haha don't worry! Just realised that this guys is called Finn (as is the straight guy in Glee) but luckily that didn't complicate matters for you

Also! Nobody is too old for Glee! :D Glee by its very definition is opening yourself to joy :D

Already?!

I instantly thought that the figure at the end was Bex. I guess we won't see her again properly until the end of the next episode then.

So Have Finn and Amy just suddenly split up or was there a mention of it it seems weird, last series you could not keep them apart, and now he is all over Jess fisher wihout a thought about amy
