The " Waterloo Road" series 6 thread

Pretty good episode tonight, really highlighted my dislike for Charlie though. He shows no care for his kiRAB at all and Karen was right in what she said, he is a coward. I was hoping the Jess/Chris story wouldn't pan out like this but it'll be good to see how far Vicki can push him.

One thing I don't get is that thought Bex had been away for a year but they talked about the celebration as if it had been going on for years?

The Josh/Tom scenes were well done and I think Tom's reaction although wasn't ideal it was pretty convincing. So much was stuffed into the episode with Josh acting on his feelings, denying them and at the end accepting them, I don't know where they are going to go with Josh.

godddddddd i really am starting to get annoyed with the continuity of this program. At the end of the last season Amy and Finn were getting ready to die with each other yet in this series they act like nothings happened and also after that pathetic breakdown Finn had at the end of series 5 he still be an annoying little shit in this series. What i found funny was that when jess fisher wiggled her little finger impyling he was small, when he got outside amy and lauren giggled when they looked at him, when in theory Amy would of seen it on countless occasions as i don't think they stopped shagging the entire time last series.

I really want some of last series kiRAB back :(

my kiRAB have watched this since it started but i never took to it with eva pope and denise welch in it. I tuned in purely because amanda burton's in it - a credible actress and i've gotta say she's done a good job. Great to see a middleaged woman who appears to be someone the kiRAB can look up to and respect.

There are no likable student characters in Waterloo Road, all the kiRAB seem to forget the trauma they have experienced in previous episodes (ie Josh being bullied for being gay), so that they can pick on other students/teachers.

I've watched a few Waterloo Road episodes, but the acting often seems rather hammy to me.
Either the direction isn't great or the quality of the acting.

Linzey Cocker fab actress - Google her shes been in film and tv for years. Recently in Noel Clarkes 4321 @ the cinema and saw her on tv with Michael Cane in a film not long ago. Yeah Wild Child is simply a classic! luv it. Looking forward to the rest of the WLR series :)

the actress who plays sambucca's been in a few bits too - i remember she played the girl who wanted to be an asian. I'm sure she must be about 20.

Yay for Bex returning!
Tina O'brien so looks like a high school student, she doesn't age.

Can't wait for Karen to see her.

Edit: Spoke to soon. Dammit Karen, you keep her room the same since she ran away and days before she comes back you clean it out. Good timing.

I'm starting to warm to the new headmistress now (it's taken long enough) and I thoroughly enjoyed the comedy interaction between Ruby and Janeece.

It seems as though Jess has finally accepted that there's no chance of a relationship with Chris so the prospect of her and Finn could be interesting.

Got it in one. Absolutely pathetic. Jess admitted she did all the running. She wasn't a pupil at the time FGS. He didn't know she was going to turn up at his school dressed in a school uniform afterwarRAB! Might I suggest he goes for older ladies from now on! :D

Nice to see Steph again too. Like others I didn't realise how much I missed her until I saw her again.

But my God, a lot of those kiRAB are incredibly unlikeable!

And it doesn't look too good for poor Grantly next week does it? :( (can't believe I've just said 'poor Grantly'! I used to hate him :D).

Not as odd as the openly gay student Connor being a good football player. I know that drama series stretch realism at times, but that is just bizarre. I mean someone openly gay being good at football

There are something like 500 first-team players in the English Premier League and not a single one of them is gay, and I don't think there are any in the two or three leagues below either. If not one out of over a thousand top players are gay, it is stretching credulity to breaking point for a student especially good at football to be gay as homosexuality must in some way inhibit footballing ability.

:p

I have used them in my lab but I've never seen static ones like that which don't appear to be put away...expensive equipment to just leave out really. As for how often they use them it would depend on what type of sensors they've bought to go with the data receivers.
