The ultimate Disney Battle-Lion King vs Aladdin

Before High School Musical and the endless crap now coming out of Disney you had the really old classics of really old(Bambi) and the more recent but still classics like the Lion King and Aladdin which were both released in the early 90's

There has always been a debate between Aladdin fans and Lion King fans about which one is better but what do you think?

I personally prefer the Lion King.It has great characters(except Scar:mad:) and great songs(except Scars:mad:) and a brilliant story(except what happens to Mufasa:()

Aladdin is brilliant but nothing on Lion King
 
definitely The Lion King...the story was better and i remember at the time it was really advanced, with the stampede scene and things like that. plus the music was amazing!

although i had the mega drive games for both and aladdin was better in that department! ;):D
 
Aladdin was good but the 'Lion King' was better. And what a cast for the voice-overs! Although I'm not too keen on Elton John, I still think it has a good soundtrack. Aladdin is more or less based on an old fable but the Lion is better because it has a good story, narrative, plot, throughout.
 
The Lion King!!! definately! in about 30 years from now...high school musical will be a classic! along with the other musicals like fame, grease, bugsy alone, chicago etc etc!
 
Tough but i'm going to go with Aladdin. :p

Both two of Disney's best films though.

And Scar makes The Lion King movies, he is probably the best Disney villian there is - killed his own brother and tried to kill his nephew. Move aside Hannibal Lector and Darth Vadar. :p
 
definately Lion King. Although Aladdin is just as good. I remember back in 1994 I used to rent out the film all the time. I loved it that much and still do
 
I beg to differ.

Chicken Little and Home on the Range may not have been Disney at its best but its a darn sight better than the opposition could pull off.

Just wait for Rapunzel and The Frog Princess - they should bring the halcyon days back.

As for the question - its a tie for me.
