Thanks for the Eric Bana clip. :) Too bad Henry couldn't be Australian. ;) That accent. :sigh:

I'm glad it's not just me. :)

If Henry and Clare's first [sexual] time is included in the film adaptation, I really hope it was changed. I mean, you wait and wait for it in the book, and the author gives it to you like she did. I hated it! It was completely unromantic and just ick. But I definitley have faith in the movie writer, given that he also wrote Ghost. :D

Just got back from seeing it.
I wanted to read the book first but just wasn't gonna have time.
I think I enjoyed it. It was a good film but it felt kind of slow.

I understand what you mean by clinically. There where times when I too was reading the book and I hoped for just a bit more emotion to help me connect more.

I read the book, and I loved it. But, like some of you were saying, I wish it could have been more romantic at times.

Let us know how the movie is! I'm probably going to see it next weekend with my grandma. :yay: :blinkie:

I loved this movie. I read the book a couple of years ago, but I couldn't think of anything that had been left out - although more of younger Claire would've been good. Anyone else cry?

If you are thinking of seen a good movie to entertained and get some thing out of it to life The Time Traveler's Wife (2009) is the perfect choice because after seen the movie trailer on free movies I just got a feeling of this movie will be so much in drama and so will be some thing more than we expect from a romantic movie. The Time Traveler's Wife (2009) is a good interesting movie to watch

Saw this a couple days ago and I really liked it. It was pretty faithful to the book in what was included, but I agree that it moved really quickly.

I would have loved more build up to their marriage. The movie had them meet, get married and all the drama in their life. The book had a lot of romantic buildup that could have been included, definitely could have used more scenes in the meadow. I wanted to see a lot more young/teenage Clare.

Overall, I thought the movie was good and held all the right emotion. Eric + Rachel were amazing with what they were given and they had great chemistry. Plus, they were so nice to look at.

I just got back from seeing this and totally loved it. I didn't read to book and I'm sure my opinion would have been a bit different if I did, but I really enjoyed it. I thought Rachel and Eric did a great job.

I have seen this movie The Time Traveler's Wife (2009) to day and got to say it was one of the movies I did enjoy very much. It was not only the romance of two people it was the separation and declaration of peoples minds with love and passion, free movies I go to see this good movie and it was some thing beyond the expectations in movie

I'd say see it first, if you haven't already read the book, that way you shouldn't be as disppointed. Or at least, here's hoping, lol.

rottentomatoes.com Synopsis
