A new episode airs tonight at 8 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:
 
I'm gonna be checking this out to see how accurate they got Vancouver. From what I've seen from the commercials not much. I mean snow in Vancouver? That's pure fantasy right there;)
 
1. Most people prefer that the events of "The Principal and the Pauper" never happened.

2. That's nothing when you realize that women's pole vaulting wasn't even an Olympic games in the Helsinki games.
 
Pretty boring episode so far. Did like that one line, though.

"That's love, Seymour. I'm glad you got to see it once before you die."
 
Great episode, really stands out from the other episodes of season 21. The cameo of the Medicine Woman from the Simpsons Movie really made me crack up.
 
Animation domination really didn't get me this week the jokes were funny but story-wise very lacking. The olympics theme was boring I mean nobody really cares about them now. Why dedicate a whole episode to it? And I've never even heard of curling until last year so the whole thing was lost on me. Funny episode just boring everything else.
 
Who's that? Another lame one-joke character perhaps like the Crazy Cat Lady?

I haven't watched this show in many years so please fill me in.
 
Worst joke I've heard on this show in a while: Ivan Reitman directing the Opening Ceremonies.

Opening Ceremonies are very easy to make fun of because they're usually so weird and pretentious. Yet The Simpsons didn't go for the easy satire --- instead, they did something that didn't work on any level.

Reitman directed Ghostbusters, so.....the countries should naturally be announced like "WHO YOU GONNA CALL? ARGENTINA!!".....well, of course, THAT makes sense. And then the joke is that he has to say "Who you gonna call" so many times that his voice wears out.

*silence*

Lisa was adidcted to collecting Olympic pins and even was wearing them on her flesh with no blood.

Best quote: "You don't look fat!"

Does the Fatoski Olympic mascot have similarities to Homer's mouth?
