A new episode airs tonight at 8 PM Eastern. Here is the synopsis:
 
Anyone else have a feeling that this episode is ending up going to be an update of Sweet Seymour Skinner's Baadasssss Song?
 
Matt Selman came up with the episode? Mark Kirkland still workin' on the show? An above average first act?

You know, I'm feelin' better about this episode. Let's hope they keep it up.
 
I never really understood why people are obsessed with cell phones so to see how far the kids would go after losing their phones was very entertaining. Good stuff so far. Homer as "the dog" was pretty funny too.
 
I felt some sort of Rodney Dangerfield thing going on in the show Edna was watching right before the commercial break.

Like I said... much better than the season premiere's episode so far.
 
-I loved the "last birthday" bit.

-What was the reference in that "multiples of seven" video? It seems familiar...

-Also in case anyone is interested the piece in the beginning of The Answer is "Oh Fortuna".

-"WHAAAAAAAAAT!?"
 
Here I was thinking the obsession with cell phones would be the most memorable part of the episode until I saw ..... The Answer. That whole vignette was hilarious. Episode is still pretty good so far.

"Does anybody else wanna ride the indigo pony!?"

No cutaways, genuine storytelling, character focus.

This is a really good episode so far.
