I thought id tune in to secret millionaire last night as I live in blackpool and its probably a shock to you all that My husband and I both work and are not on heroin!

Blackpool is a lovely place but yes there is a small area that are in poverty and these are the only areas it is known for! you'll also find that most of these people who are homeless living on the prom are not from the area at all, its sad that blackpool is just known for being a dive as that is just a very small area of the town! have you not heard of clevleys and lytham st annes? these areas get forgotton about and people just focus on central drive ( the deprived area of blackpool )
Im sure where you live they have bad areas as well as good areas!
Also I think blackpool was picked by the researchers as it is well known for vetran work and he had his connection with heroin, Agreeing with the previous post i thought he would go to donnas dream house too, it is a well known place in blackpool so i think it suited him well
I also have to say what a lovely man he was, one of the nicest that i have seen on millionaire!
Can anyone tell me what happened in the last 15 mins of the program as i fell asleep

She seems like a lovely woman. Shes made her money and now shes enjoying it. Good for her. I still can't get over that house.
 
I guess so, and of course it was good of him to do it in the first place but still I can't help but feel a bit let down by that. He was still a good bloke though, maybe that's why I felt disappointed.
 
Is anyone else watching this repeat. It was the only one i ever saw, the bit where Nikki reacted and just broke down was my favourite bit, i cried too.
 
Just about to watch this on C4+1, can anyone tell me if Ben Way is one of the benefactors featured? His was the first and probably the best Secret Millionaire yet.
 
So don't watch it again - simple really.

Pleased to hear Donna's Dream House has had a boost since the show. Great show last night, very moving.
