Goddess 1 - may I ask you a question please?

Can you tell us about the selection process? without wishing to disparage your own skills, most of us on here feel that the overall standard of the couples this year was much lower, so just wondered what you had to do to get on the show?

No, Le Manoir has never had 3 stars, which is slightly surprising given that they definitely have the elaborate service which normally goes with a 3* restaurant.

Is it really true that Tatman and Gimp are going to be back on telly? I miss them so much. :(

The girls showed their complete commercial catering inexperience by not knowing that they'd be unable to get their fresh fish on a Monday. Anyone who has been in catering in any way knows that.

BintJudge continues to annoy me. She is so rude / unhelpful / snobbish, she seems to go out of her way to get as many over the top facial sneers and rolleyes in every week. David is so much nicer when dealing with other people. I'd far rather eat in any of his restaurants than her overpriced takeaways.
 
Totally agree. She really is too pessimistic. You'd think he was on his death bed the way she was talking about him!!!!!! OMG, those people who complain for no reason piss me off...:mad:

Surely a contender for most pretentious, meaningless BS sentence of the year. The need to capitalise food & drink eludes me. As opposed to what? Shit & Shinola?
 
I would echo the other comments about an excellent show being ruined in the last series.

I wonder how dumb and dumber are doing anyway?? I haven't heard of them poisoning anyone as they couldn't cook so maybe RB has them running an upmarket cocktail bar.:rolleyes:
