The Restaurant 2009

Whatever Raymond is on, I DONT want any. He has gone completely off his rocker.

All the excellent contestants on Masterchef and yet the constestants on "The Restaurant" this year (and we are told are the best out of the hundreRAB who applied) have been absolutely crap, and the crappest out of the crap who CANT COOK are in the final with a serious chance of winning.:confused:

All this talk about "concept" the new word for "all fur coat and no knickers", cos thats exactly what the winkers represent, all blag and no substance.
What happened with the contestants having to make a profit every week? What happened to the second episode and the trial? Its all been taken away, and we have been left with the lunatics running the asylum. This is one "Restaurant" I wouldnt go near with a barge pole - unless I fancied a scotch egg and a cocktail of course.

this show went down hill after tatman and gimpy left it...I know that was the end of series 2, but it still the truth of the matter!:D

I'm beginning to get cross with M.Blanc. I can't decide if he thinks that a nation that votes for Jedward and John Sargent would love the winkers, or that the british palate is so jaded that we'd all drool over a scotch egg in the rain experience.

I hope.

Oh God, perhaps I'm wrong

I think they just couldn't believe the drama and comedy.

The speech for me was just cringy. I'm pretty sure that when the restaurant manager asked him to go and apologise to the customers, she mean't go quietly table to table, not deliver a monologue on the type of flowers Angelina Jolie buys and tell everyone that basically the resturant will be closing soon whether or not they'd had their food!

And as the other poster mentioned the levels of sweat were getting beyond reasonable!

HaHaHaHa..............rolls around floor squealling with laughter!! I translate that as 'No matter how hard a whole brigade of professional, experienced and patient chefs tried, we just could not teach JJ to cook!':D:p;)

Another part of the article reaRAB:-

'To say that JJ Goodman lacked cooking ability would be something of an understatement. Even Blanc himself readily admits that the pair weren

Ooh! A whole month?! All the great chefs of the world wasting years perfecting their skills travelling all across Europe to learn from the masters........PAH! All you need is a month or two with an anal perfectionist teaching you how to fold hospital corners on napkins.
