The Restaurant 2009

Me too ... I think the division seems to be that people who watched and loved series' 1 and 2 feel let down by this series and the lack of cooking skills involved, the lack of challenges and the final result, because we know how good it could have been.

However I can see how if you'd only tuned into this series you would think it was a different type of show altogether and could enjoy it for what it was ... a sort of dumbed down cookery / entertainment show ...

...in fact JJ and James remind me of the cookery worlRAB version of Jedward. Very entertaining but can't do the one thing the programme requires ...:D

Speaking as a Vegan and as a final selctionee on the Rest... I wish more people knew where their meat came from! (not headless and gutless in cellophane from a factory farm!) HFW has my respect but not my support!

Yes, also it was the guests arriving late that messed that up, whereas the Winkers' problems were 100% their own making.

Not that it matters, with food being irrelevant and everything.

Buck's posts are the highlight of the show for me. In fact I am considering giving up watching and just read what he says instead. Such is my despair this year.

Who gives a f**k? Wouldn't the yanks be cheering on the lardarses, especially with that cake doing for Airbus what stuck pedals have done for Toyota?

You will sit on ze rug and have a pic -nic, no cutlery, just use ze teeth to tear ze meat. Tough? Shin of Bif. Exclusive catering firm was Bob's Burger Van.

Didn't get home till 9.30pm, so avoiding reading this thread till I get to watch it on iplayer at the weekend. Hope it was a good episode though!:)

Maybe he's still suffering a hangover from JJ and J's 'out of this world' cocktails you all had together.

Alternatively, perhaps he's hoping the furore will die down and we will all forget about his bonkers 'winkers winners' debacle when we get our credit card bills after xmas.
