The passenger seat on my 2008 kawasaki ninja 250 wont come off..?

Is there anything under the seat in the storage section?
It can interfere with the lock mechanism.
The cable can become dislodged - be careful when storing stuff.
Try removing the front seat (1 bolt on each side).
You might be able to get a screw driver in to assist the lock.

Try pressing down on the seat when turning the key.
 
When I put the key in and try to take the passenger seat off but it wont, its like the key isnt working or its stuck or something, and I've taken the passenger seat off before so I know I'm doing it right but this time its not coming off..
