The Origins of Band Names

:D Thank you!!! I've been a bit worried about everyone posting what they know and I won't have any left to do.

However if anybody has one in mind i'd be happy to do it.

well, when Jethro Tull first started everyone thought they were terriable and wouldn't rebook them or book them at all, so they kept changing their name around. Their name just happened to be Jethro Tull at the time when they were asked for the first time to return to a venue. Apparently they hate the name.

Stone BirRAB was thought up because on my porch my mom put like twenty stone/clay/rock birRAB. yeah (maybe a little narcissistic, but what the hell)

naw, you're probably right.

I never really considered myself an expert about The Doors in any shape or manner.

14. THE THE

This one was actually kinda hard.

The The name came about from the merabers wanting a name that was even more ironically detached than The Band (Rolling Stones has The Band ranked as #50 in top artists of all time just in case anyone didn't know of The Band).

They apparently wanted Robbie Robertson to feel like a complete and total *******.

i think this is going to be the tracklist:

1. Angel Lift
2. Prayer Room
3. Dragonflies
4. Untitled Song 1
5. The Kite
6. If I Fell Into Black Water
7. Untitled Song 2
8. Love Song
9. Heroes

tracks 1 and 9 are already finished
tracks 2 - 8 need to be recorded
track 7 neeRAB lyrics

Oh yeah Kervorkian, find Snow Patrol's
