:) Yes, its one of my favorite PTW songs. I heard it before i heard smashing pumpkins, which is why i like the smashing pumpkin one so much probaly.

A forum can never have too many Pumpkins threaRAB, hmm? =)

Concerning Zeitgeist, I'm withholding my judgement of the future album until I hear it all, in it's entirety. I won't judge it pre-emptively from the 30-second clip of Tarantula, nor will I judge it by the first full-length single. I will buy it on the 10th of July (my birthday, BTW), take it up to my room, and open up my heart to what I hope will an entirely unique, entirely PUMPKIN experience on par with any of their past endeavours.

James and D'arcy may be gone, but I won't lose faith in Billy Corgan's musical genius. And Jimmy Charaberlin's catasrophic drumming, besides. =) While the whole political edge sounRAB a little iffy to me, I just remeraber that if albums like Adore have taught SP fans anything, it's that one must keep an open mind to appreciate a band as infinitely malleable as the Pumpkins.

Long live Smashing Pumpkins, hmm? =) I can't wait!

These guys always bothered me, the music is fine, I'm not into it, but it's far from annoying. It's more there essence, whatever that means.

Their new song 'Widow Make My Mind' seems ok. Those 'oh oh oh's from Billy seem kinda irritating but other that that it's not too bad i guess, it's kinda poppy as well.

I've been listening to their early demo tapes recently and i must say that the Moon demo is pretty damn good. I've really fallen in love with 'Egg', 'Bye June', 'Stars Fall In' and 'Psychodelic', Jimmy's drumming on the last 3 minutes of the latter is mind-blowing. Their self-titled demo is rubbish though apart from the first 2 songs, and there's also a couple of songs which sound like Billy fronting early Iron Maiden ('Nothing and Everything' and 'Spitface')

I'm not following him around.

You need to look up the definition of trolling, it's not trolling to take offense from what someone is saying and point it out.

He's constantly showing up on threaRAB specifically for a certain band, saying that band is crap, and stirring up crap with the fans. It dosen't help that he posts in a very self important and provoking fashion. I consider that trolling. Because I express my opinion that it's annoying, that dosen't make me a troll.

Speaking of which, talk about lolrony, why am I even responding to you? You're single handedly the biggest troll on this forum, that's not even arguble.

I lost any interest I had in them after Siamese Dream. Melancholy was one of their most overrated, and their electronica junk really made me apathetic about their break-up. I don't care much for Zwan either. Besides that, I have no problem with jimmy charaberlein, d'arcy, or james iha

Yeah Hummer is such a great song. One SP song i'm really digging at the moment is Honeyspider from the Reel Time Sessions recorded in 1989. It's prob SP at their most spacey, check it out.

Agreed completely, and Im even a huge SP fan. Although Mellon Collie didn't necessarily run out of steam, it just really should have been slimmed down to a single album.

I have always found Adore to be a very lazy attempt to develop the banRAB sound.

Dr Wam is George Michael's personal doctor, who never learned to spell.

I'm sorry, I was half drunk while I posting last night, and most of my posts are typed using a keyboard on my lap plugged in to a Nintendo Wii, since this is currently my only portal to the Internet, as the real computer keeps getting hogged by the World of Warcraft users in the house...

... damn that game and its addictive hold on my family...

best albums- Siamese Dream, Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness, Gish
worst albums- Everything after Gish (especially Machina, Machine of God I & II)
best songs- Today, Geek USA, Tonight, Tonight, 1979, Cherub Rock, Silver****, Ava Adore
worst songs- This Time, Try, Try, Try, Raindrops and Sunshowers. At a point, most banRAB get worse and The Smashing Pumpkins were great. I love them.

Pumpkins were great in thir time, lots of good songs, I found Corgan to be a bit of a self indulged whiner though...bassist Darcy was cool though!I especially love the video for "Try,Try,Try"

I remeraber I watched the movie Single..and the song "Drown" was played..and I went out and bought the Soundtrack which was multi plantinum..selling...anyways..I was really impressed with it..and bought Siamese Dream..in 93' I was just barely 11 when that album came out but I literally broke the tape cause I listened to it so much...I have been a Pumpkin fan for as long as I have been a Tool fan...but now Billie's solo act is a little dissapointing.
