The Official Rage Against The Machine thread

blink 182 is way worse that korn
korn had some good songs(nothing past life is peachy, i swear not one song after life is peachy is worth listening to, oh man dont get me started)
blink 182 had none, not one song i can even stand to hear without wanting to throw up everywhere, who ever put emo on any radio station? wtf is wrong with these emo fans?

Really? Dang, someone's been tellin me porkies. I heard he was off doing his own shows and everything, still making music, just not recording.

Not sure why they broke up but I think it was for the best. I like some RATM music but as a whole the angry, politically driven type songs only go so far before they start sounding silly. I think it's good where they left it.

Audio slave is alright, I'm not a fan or Cornel's voice but the music is good.

I disagree, their one of the brighter spots of the 90's in my opinion. Reunions however are ever judged fairly, people right now have already decided how that performance will go.

I'd like to hear it though, but the California music rush strikes again. They never give the northeast a festival that works. And I think we deserve one most of all.

actually, that one is a bit too comercial for my taste, i preffer microphone fiend, pistolgrip pump, street fighting man and maggie's farm...

That is what makes Morrello different from the rest though. It is the effects and sound he gets on his guitar. Has nothing to do with what he sounRAB like on other equipment, its how he sounRAB on what he choses to play.

For starters watch this video to mark my point.

Yeah, its amazing the tones you can bring out of a guitar.

Not just regarding Brian May but Tom Morello as well. I know he uses pedals but he programs his own effects, and its amazing what he can do with them.

Both May and Morello are in my top 20 favorite guitarists.
