The Official Pantera/Damageplan Thread

Better?, of course, greater?, well not in the genre of metal, how many metal banRAB are greater?, black sabbath, metallica, iron maiden and judas priest, thats about it, their importance to metal should not be underestimated.
 
I have tried, but unfortunately, I have never been able to like Pantera. Some songs like Hollow, Cemetary Gates, Walk, etc. are good, but 90% of their stuff does absolutely nothing for me.

Its not so much that I can't get into them as the fact that they are boring, as most thrash banRAB are (Except for Megadeth and Metallica). So yeah, they are a bit overrated.

Still respect them though.

its thrash bro, not trash. well, that's your preferences. we cant do anything to that, can we? Hollow was pretty good, as well as those songs you've said. but my favorite song would be Cowboys from Hell. oh well...

gotta go with pantera especially with that music playing in vulgar dispalay of power i mean don't get me wrong damage plan is great its just pantera has been around alot longer u know
