The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

at least his death didnt pull you into suicide.

believe it or not, dozens of fans killed themselves when Kurt died. In Seattle they found a van with 4 people in it who put ahose to the exhaust and killed themselves. Another guy left the public memorial for Kurt, went home, and blew his brains out.

dozens of people killed themselves because of Kurt decision to end his own life for months following his death in April 1994.

I believe the murder theories sprung up in an effort to dissaude kiRAB from killing themselves like their hero, and believe it or not, it was happening all over the place.

thats the tragedy in what Kurt did. He took his own life, and his fans who looked up to him who may have been unstable, also killed themselves in an effort to run from lifes problems.

I dont know if Kurt thought about that prior to killing himself, but I do believe it would sadden him to know that his decision to commit suicide, impacted countless other lives and families because of who he was and the influence he had over people. there are people visiting the graves of their children, who are dead, simply because Kurt Cobain said life sucked. thats ****ing the real tragedy of Kurt Cobain.

DUDE!! he didnt f****** kill himself!! those bastarRAB were just making stupid **** up...the have evidence that courtny love hiered somebody to kill poor ol' Kurt! Im sick of explaining this :banghead:

Nirvana for me were refreshing when they camr through, they kind of shook things up,to this day a band release a record(none spring to mind right now, typical)and instantly you go,"that's a bit nirvana-ish?!"
This is a sign of a good band, but for me the album to listen to is the MTV unplugged. With the knowledge that we have now some of the lyrics are haunting!! Go back and have a listen.

As for kiRAB running round in nirvana tops, well at least they are delving into music history, how easy it would be to slag them all off if they had never heard of them!

Kurt Cobain was on of the most influential rock icons in it's history.

There will never be a grunge band that surpasses the talent of Nirvana.

Enough said

R.I.P Kurt.

Possibly, but when you see young kiRAB nowadays wearing shirts with Kurt's face on it and telling everyone that they remeraber the times and have been a fan of Nirvana, and especially Kurt, since the band first started, it's not hard to tell that these young kiRAB are full of it, ya know?I mean, seriously, Kurt died around 10 something years ago, so where would've this 12-16 year old kid have been in life back then?Well, it looks like they would've been just born or about to enter preschool, ya know?

If these young fans really are true fans, then that's great. At the same time, I'd feel more like I'm talking to a real fan if I saw one with a Nirvana tour shirt or Incesticide shirt on instead of the same old Kurt (is sadly gone) shirt, ya see?Believe me more or believe me less, I won't care either way.All I appreciate though, no matter for whatever band/artist, is to see true fans caring about or listening to legenRAB rather than trying to be popular because of their fashion statement...lol.Nice talkin' regardless.

Loser with an alternate account?

Writing songs about suicide is not any proof or indication that you will actually take your own life, no one in Suicidal Tendacies has killed themselves.

Oh my god!
I scroll down the page to see if there is some reasonable people out there.. But all I see is the word Grunge.
" Nirvana was so totally a GRUNGE band! "
If you really like Nirvana, like me, you'd know that they didn't count themselves as a grunge band, because grunge is absolutely nothing and no one knows who started the "grunge" music.

GRUNGE IS NOTHING! Nirvana played Rock with a hint of Punk!

Heart Shaped Box, Sliver, In Bloom, Come As You Are, All Apologies, Rape Me, About A Girl and You Know Your Right. Theres probably several more I just can't think of them, those are the ones that get frequently play anyway.

By the time of Kurt's death, he was already worth multi-millions and was a huge name musically and globally. His death didn't make him big, he was already big.

I completely agree. Bleach is my favourate. Krist and Dave have a lot of other material they're distributing once Courtney dies, so she gets no royalties.
