The Official Nirvana/Kurt Cobain Thread

those might be some of the most popular, but none are their best in my opinion. what about Aneurysm, Serve the Servants, or Floyd the Barber?

"some songs lost a little grunge and put more punk in it, but also used a lot of grunge"?

punk+less grunge+more grunge=nirvana

and in terms of "grunge" i thought they were the best, in terms of overall-being compared to other banRAB at the time, they were certainly not the best.

Actually no. But what makes you ask?

And if you're another meraber who's come to take me out, get in line or join the support group.

I thought what i posted was spot on, and I thought your post was delete worthy simply because you not only didn't add anything to the conversation but you also failed at being humorous. Stay on topic friend.

Sorry but i think he killed himself. There are no proofs he was murdered. And what the ****? Sorry but everyone can commit suicide even Kurt Cobain. If you feel miserable and sad and you don't want to live anymore you do it anyway if you have the courage. I believe the cops if they say he killed himself.
Ok courtney could have done it. But do you have any proof? As long that there is no proof, i believe Kurt commited suicide.

Well i would hate hearing Nirvana on comericals for a different reason...i dont like to hear them period..but to stop bashing ill say that courtney is an idiot and thats just the **** she would do

"One of" is the key word.

He had been sent to rehab several times, he simply didnt have the will to live, drugs was part of the reason, his career and everything else was another part of it.

If you read Heavier Than Heaven you would realize....Everything you said was just wrong. Everyone knows Courtney didn't kill kurt he killed himself we got it, and kurt did get along with her if they didn't like one another why did when one of them got into trouble the other one is there to wreck havoc and defend.....And who said that she is acapable of this besides her father?

Without Tommy Iommi, we wouldn't have about 99% of music today, but when ozzy teamed with randy rhodes and later Zakk Wylde, he got better.

Sabbath created something huge, but it doesn't mean that it was the best.

Our debt to Tommy is huge, but he isn't the best.

We have no debt to RJD, and he's the worst.

Of course there was the respect. Crover was (still is?) good mates with Grohl, Crover is how Grohl came to be a part of Nirvana, and Crover also played in a band with Kurt prior to both the formation of the Melvins and Nirvana. The two banRAB definitely had quite strong ties.

But I'd have to argue that the Melvins were proportionately more influential upon Nirvana than Nirvana was the Melvins.

 Nice one, I have this issue, for some strange reason, with banRAB, if they're one genre in the album, when they make a different genre track, it gets me bugged. Meaning I'm not keen on `Something in the Way` I have no idea why.
